SHOW CHOIR COMPETITION GENERAL RULES

1. The competition is open to any of the following:a. School Choirs – composed of high school &/or college students within the South area (Paraa!ue"

#icutan" $untinlupa" %as Pias" %aguna" Caite & #atangas' and $aati & Taguig areas). Church Choirs * whose residents are within the South area (Paraa!ue" #icutan" $untinlupa" %as

Pias" %aguna" Caite & #atangas' and $aati & Taguig areasc. +ther types of ,roups or Choirs from other areas – who hae at least 1 mem)er residing within

the South area (-la)ang" Paraa!ue" #icutan" $untinlupa" %as Pias & #atangas areas'. There will )e separate competitions:a. ay 1 (0e) " 21' * 3outh Choirs/,roups (-ges 1*14'). ay (0e) 5" 21' – -dult Choirs/,roups (-ges 14 & up'

5. The decision of the udges is final.

PERFORMANCE GUIDELINES

1. ;ach group is e9pected to render popular songs (0oreign or +P$' of their choice.2.  - ma9imum of 1 minutes total is allotted for each group<s performance.=. - 62 – second pre –set and e9it will )e gien to each group.

4. Timing will )egin with first moement of the dance or when the music starts playing and will end with thelast moement or e9it from performance. - demerit of points will )e deducted per minute or a fraction of

a minute of oertime.>. ;ach group may choose from the following performance options:

a. - capella). ?ith lie accompaniment (ey)oard'@ Aote that recorded accompaniment will not )e allowed.

12. $usic must )e appropriate and not include any ulgar or profane language.11. - list of the songs to )e performed as well as the musical score / sheets must )e su)mitted to the

organiBer one wee )efore the performance date.1. Special song arrangements and choreography are highly encouraged.

APPAREL & ACCESSORIES

1. $em)ers of the group may wear costumes in performing. nappropriate and ulgar clothing will not )e

allowed. Costumes must )e age appropriate and suita)le for family iewing.2. Dand props are allowed. -ll other props" which may scatter & re!uire time for cleaning or may )e

haBardous – such as confetti" glitter" pyrotechnics" etc – are not allowed.
