THE DUNYALife is an interesting paradigm. Most of thetime, we can’t wait to get through the workday, school day, family get-togethers, orwhatever we’re doing. We can’t wait for endof day, for Friday, for the weekend. Sounds

familiar right? It’s a repetitive pattern of life we foster. Butwhat is lost on us is the fact we have one day less in our life,one day less to achieve our pre-ordained destiny. It is also oneday closer to the grave, to the hereafter, to answer for ourgood and bad deeds, right? So why are we such in a rush toget the end of our lives? Have we accomplished everything wewould like in this life and prepared accordingly for the hereaf-ter? It is important to reflect every now and then, to ask our-selves the question: how do we spend our time: the days, thehours, the minutes? The reality is we cannot extend our lifemore than it is written for us by Allaah (SWT). As the years goby, it is important to understand what we’re doing with ourlife? In general, we tend to concentrate heavily on the material-istic aspects that make us successful in this life: degrees, dip-lomats, properties, businesses, marriages? Granted, Allaah(SWT) tells us in the Qur’aan, all of these are necessities orZarooriyat (Urdu) and to enjoy all these things. But while doingso, Allaah (SWT) also tells us don’t forget to prepare spiritu-ally for the hereafter. Allaah tells us, recommends to us andguides us on how to invest for our life in the next life. Today,many parents only advise and prepare their children on how tosucceed in this life or Dunya, but not how to succeed in thenext life. The truth of matter is, if something goes wrong inthis life, we can get help from various sources like our family.But if we die today, there is no one to help us through to theJannah or heaven: no father to help his son, no wife to help herhusband, children to help their parents. On the Day of Judge-ment, we are on our own, brothers and sisters. And as suchwe are duly responsible to prepare for our judgement day. Nowthere is caveat or exception in this case: a child can help aparent on Judgement Day if and only if, that parent invested inhaving that child memorize the Qur’aan and live by Qur’aan.On the Day of Judgment, the parents of that child will wear acrown and Allaah (SWT) will intercede, and give permission tosave parents. And why? Simply because the parents investedand prepared that child spiritually by learning and living by theQur’aan. So brothers and sisters, heed the advice of Allaah(SWT) and make the necessary change. Surah Hashr, chapter59, verses 18-21 tells us: “Oh ye who believe, do your duty toAllaah – declare Shahada, pray Salah, give Zakat, perform fastand carry out Haj”. These are basic pillars of Islam, the foun-dation of Islam. But it’s only the foundation. There’s a lettercalled “Waw” in Arabic, and it literally means “and”.

The question then arises as to what arethe qualifications required of a Mujtahid,that is, a person who is deemed to be com-petent to expound the law, so as to be

entitled to participate in collective juristic deliberation. Fakhru’l-Islam lays down generally that he must be conversant with thescience of law in both the branches, namely the principles ofjurisprudence (Usul) and the rules of law in the different de-partments (Foru’). Some, however, would consider it suffi-cient qualification for a person to know either the theoreticalor the applied laws. It is necessary for a jurist that he shouldhave a Knowledge of the Qur’an and be able not only to read it,but also to understand it and interprete its meaning. He shouldbe familiar with the traditions reported from the Holy Prophet(Peace be upon him) and be able to distinguish the authenticfrom the non-authentic, the universally known and the wellknown from traditions of isolated origin, and should also knowthe nature of authority attached to each class of traditions. Hemust be conversant with the rules and methods of analogicaldeduction. The mere fact of a man being a competent com-mentator of the Qur’an or a traditionist does not qualify him totake part in Ijma. The question relating the qualifications ofMujtahid is one of importance and will be considered morefully hereafter. But what has to be observed here is that thematter is left to be determined by public opinion and not by anydefinite authority in the State.

A recent Sunday scripture taught our com-munity that: “Now faith is the assurance ofthings hoped for, the conviction of things notseen.” (Hebrews 11:1) This understanding ofGod-based Hope is profoundly different than

the world’s confused attempts to deal with the struggles, con-cerns and difficulties that present themselves on personal andcommunal levels within our lives. I am reminded of Lucy, inthe Charlie Brown comic strip. Once again she is stationed inright field, and once again a ball is hit in her direction. Onceagain she tries to position herself to catch that ball, and onceagain she misses and the ball lands behind her. She picks it upand saunters to the pitcher’s mound to give it to Charlie Brownsaying, “Sorry I missed that one, manager, I was hoping I’dcatch it! Hope got in my eyes!” Lucy’s story reveals confusionover what hope really is. Lucy confuses hope with wishfulthinking. Wishful thinking looks for that which has never hap-pened before. Wishful thinking anticipates that for which therehas been no effort, no improvement. We need not look far tosee instances of such misunderstandings of true hope. ThatGod-centered hope that can and does lift us up and lead usforward, despite what the world may say and the devastatingcircumstances that may be present in our lives or world. Thiscan and does occur, because faith is indeed the assurance ofthings hoped for, the conviction of things not perhaps yet seen.Such was the case with Abram, who would become Abraham.In faith he journeyed forward, leaving homeland and followingthe call of the Lord. While he would indeed become “The Fa-ther of many Nations,” he, himself, would not live to see sucha reality. Alexander Solzhenitsyn tells on, he was forced to work12 hours a day on a starvation diet; and he became gravely ill.The doctors, in fact, predicted his death. One afternoon, whileshoveling sand under a blazing sun, he simply stopped work-ing. He stopped working even though he knew that the guardswould beat him severely, even to death. But he felt he couldjust not go on. Then he saw another prisoner, a fellow Chris-tian, moving towards him cautiously. With his cane, that manquickly drew a cross in the sand and then erased it. In thatbrief moment, Solzhenitsyn felt all of the hope of the gospelflood through his soul. It was a renewal of Christian hope,even though the situation had not changed. It gave him cour-age to endure that difficult day and the months of imprison-ment that followed. This is the difference between God-basedhope and wishful thinking or optimism. Hope is founded inGod, and like faith, hope is finally vindicated because God isfaithful. In the Holy Quran 94:5-7 we hear: “So verily withevery difficulty, there is relief: Verily with every difficulty thereis relief. Therefore, when you are free (from your immediatetask), still labor hard. And to your Lord turn (all) your atten-tion.”

My dear brothers and sisters:“Righteousness is not that you turn yourfaces toward the east or the west, but [true]

righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah , the LastDay, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth,in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, thetraveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves;[and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who]fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who]are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Thoseare the ones who have been true, and it is those who are therighteous.” Qur’aan:Baqarah 2:177It is always a good reminder to all of us to reevaluate our dailyliving habits and practices, to ensure that we are on the righttrack to being righteous, as ordained by Allah (SWT). Sooften, we get caught up in our own personal issues, in ourproblems, in our suffering, in our tragedies and misfortunes.These situations may involve our family, parents, children,work and friends, and sometimes it may be devastating andunbearable for us. These personal issue consumes us, andwe may feel that no one else’s suffering matters as much asours. However, as we continue to pray for relief and healingof our personal situation; let us always remember all who aresuffering in this world. All those who are poor, the hungry,the needy, the homeless, the refugees, the innocent who arebeing forced into child labor and being child brides. Thosewho are injured every day, those who are in need of medicalattention, and those who are injured in daily attacks and inneed of pain killers, surgeries and even proper burial. They allhave names and faces and personalities and they matter tosomeone. They matter to Allah (SWT). If we want Allah(SWT) to help us and bring relief to us and to strengthen usand to heal us and our loved ones, then let us pray for thatchild we saw on the news, looking for a morsel of food, adrop of water to quench his/her thirst. Pray for the familieswho just lost everything including family members in war tornnations, pray for the missing children, pray for those suffer-ing in pain with no access to medical attention, those afflictedwith diseases in countries with no access to clean water muchless medical help, pray for those we see on social mediawounded, crying, in pain. These images cannot be somethingwe glance at and then move on. Where is our humanity? Itmay be that for most of us, the only viable help we can offerfor those afflicted will be to make dua for them. Every duafrom each of us can accumulate to be thousands of duas forthose in need, every dua is powerful.

Surah 112 Al-Ikhlaas (also known as The Pu-rity, The Sincerity or the Surah of Tawheed) isonly four aayaat (verses) yet it sums up the es-sence of Islam. Allaah is one and there is noth-ing comparable to Him. Say, “He is Allaah, (the)One. Allaah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient

Master, Whom All creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).He begets not, nor was He begotten; And there is none co-equalor comparable unto Him.” (Qur’an 112) Surah Al-Ikhlaas wasrevealed to Prophet Muhammad SAW during the early days ofIslam. The polytheists and pagans of Makkah one day approachedand challenged him saying, “Give us the genealogy of your Lord.”It was then that Allaah SWT revealed this surah. Surah Al-Ikhlaasproclaims the Oneness of Allaah SWT and this concept is pre-sented in the first ayah. The second ayah declares that Allaah isAs-Samad, implying that He has All the attributes of perfection.As-Samad is one of the Names of Allaah SWT. It means the oneWho everybody depends on, but the one who doesn’t depend onanyone, it also indicates that Allaah SWT is unlike His creations.The third ayah describes that He was not born nor did He givebirth and the last ayah declares that Allaah SWT is beyond com-parison. God declares in the Qur’an that He hascreated mankind according to a certain dis-position: “So set you your face steadily andtruly to the Faith: (establish) God’s handi-

work according to the pattern on which He has made man-kind.” (Qur’an, 30:30) The disposition of mankind relies onbeing a servant to God and having faith in Him. Since man isunable to meet his unlimited wishes and needs by himself,he naturally needs to humble himself before God and turn toHim. If the individual lives in accordance with this disposi-tion, he attains true confidence, peace, happiness and salva-tion. If he denies this disposition and turns away from God,he spends his life in distress, fear, anxiety and grief. Thisrule, which is true for man, also holds true for societies. Ifa society is comprised of people who believe in God, it be-comes a just, peaceful, happy and wise society. Unques-tionably, the opposite also holds true. If a society is unawareof God, then the order of such a community is basicallyruined, corrupt and primitive. When societies that have turnedaway from God are examined, this fact is readily seen.

My friends, if you have the money or even if you don’thave the money, please make the intention to go to Hajj andthen make the effort to learn more about the Hajj process. scholars, stated that copyists of the bible had deliberately madeserious changes in forms of insertion and deletion often to awhole paragraphs, such defects and corruption manifest in allcopies. Also stated that John’s gospel is undoubtedly afabrication. I believe there are some truth in the bible, especiallywhen it comes to what Jesus (PBUH) himself said (Red letters).Let us look at what some of his sayings, Jesus (PBUH) said,“No wonder you can’t believe! For you gladly honor each other,but you don’t care about the honor that comes from the onewho alone is God [John5:44].[Mark10:18],[John20:17],[Isaiah44:24,45:5, 45:18, 46:9],[Mark12:28-30]. Lately 31 of 39 England’sAnglican Bishops agrees that “Christians are not obliged to believethat Jesus Christ was God”. There’s misconception thatAbraham (PBUH) was the first to worship one God, but in factthis is the purpose of our creation. God Almighty said, “I createdthe jinn and mankind except to worship me”{Quran Al-Dhariyat56}. In the 7 laws of Noah (PBUH), he was commanded torefrain from idolatry, and worshiped one God, but only a fewfrom his people followed him, and when the earth was full oferroneous, God commanded him to build the Ark, and God’sflood washed the earth from them. Noah (PBUH) said; “Mypeople! Worship Allah (God); you have no god other than He.Do you have no fear?” {Quran Al-Mumenoon 23}. Abraham(PBUH) worshiped only one God, and didn’t follow his father(Azar) and others who worshiped idols instead he turn to God“…I raise my hand to God, the supreme power, owner ofheaven and Earth” [Gen. 14:22]. “Indeed, I have turned myface toward He who created the heavens and the Earth, incliningtoward truth, and I am not of those who associate others withAllah” {Quran Al-Ana’am79}. “O People of the Book(Scriptures), why do you argue about Ibrahim (Abraham) whilethe Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him?Then, do you not reason? You are those who have argued aboutthat of which you have (some) knowledge. Why do you argueabout that of which you have no knowledge? And Allah knows,while you do not know. Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor aNazarethan (Christian), but he was a ‘haneef (one incliningtoward truth), a Muslim (submitting to Allah). And he was notof the polytheists” {Quran Al-’Imran 65-67}. In Moses (PBUH)Commandment, “You shall have no other gods before Me...”.God said to Moses (PBUH) “Indeed, I am Allah, There is nodeity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for Myremembrance” {Quran Taha 14}.

of the world. Muhammad Ali’s former name, Cassius Clay,was regarded by him as insignificant for it reeked of the brutaldomination the African slaves in America were subjected to bytheir slave masters. He preferred the name with an Islamicconnotation which he took with him to the Kabar (grave) –Muhammad Ali. As a Muslim, Muhammad Ali carried a fewbattles outside the boxing ring for justice and equality for all,especially the African Americans who he felt were utterly dis-criminated against. That initiative of his reflected the true ide-als of the religion of Islam and may Allah reward the boxinggreat for his efforts. Let me now pay further tribute toMuhammad Ali via a poem.

People often feel discouragedor intimidated at the thought of an intense exercise regimen.Thirty minutes of exercise of moderate intensity, such as briskwalking for at least 3 days a week is sufficient to start seeinghealth benefits. Moreover, these 30 minutes need not be con-tinuous; three 10 minute walks during the day are believed tobe equally beneficial. Studies have shown that routine exer-cise improves weight control, reduces blood pressure, increasesenergy levels and improves overall mood and body image. Ex-ercise is an inexpensive and convenient way to improve yourmood and overall health!

“There is no true deity butAllaah”. Surah Al-Ikhlaas is anaffirmation of Allaah’s onenessand as such it negates allforms of polytheism and idola-try. This is very important be-cause the foundation on whichour faith is built is the abso-lute belief that Allaah SWT isOne. Belief in One God en-tails certainty. Muslims wor-ship Allaah SWT alone, He hasno partners, associates, orhelpers. Worship is directedsolely to Allaah SWT, for Heis the only One worthy ofworship. Surah Al-Ikhlaas isone of the first surahs thatmany Muslims rememberlearning as a child and this isalso true for those who con-vert to Islam. After a personhas learnt the basics of the fivedaily prayers they are usuallyanxious to recite the shortersurahs of the Qur’an in theirprayers, and almost alwayssurah Al-Ikhlaas is one ofthem. Reciting surah Al-Ikhlaas may be the means ofattaining Paradise and earningAllaah’s love. From theahadith, we are able to findsome of the many benefits ofloving, reciting and living bythe principles outlined in thisshort surah. ProphetMuhammad SAW sent a manas a leader of an expedition.During the journey, in everyprayer he concluded his reci-tation of the Qur’an with surahAl-Ikhlaas. On their return hiscompanions mentioned this toProphet Muhammad SAW,who replied, “Ask him why hedid so”. When the man wasasked, he answered, “In thissurah the attributes of the Mer-ciful Allaah SWT have beenstated; therefore, I love to re-cite it again and again.” Whenthe Prophet Muhammad SAW

heard this reply, he said to thepeople, “Inform him thatAllaah SWT holds him in greatlove and esteem.” A man fromamong the Ansar led theprayers in the Quba Masjid.His practice was that in everyrakah he first recited surah Al-Ikhlaas and then would addanother surah. The people ob-jected to it and said to him,“Don’t you think that surahAl-Ikhlaas is by itself enough?Why do you join another surahto it? You should either reciteonly this surah, or should leaveit and recite some other surah.He said: “I cannot leave it; in-stead, I would rather give upleading the prayers.” Thepeople did not want anyoneelse to lead, so they broughtthe matter before ProphetMuhammad SAW. He askedthe man, “What prevents youfrom conceding to what yourcompanions desire? Whatmakes you recite this particu-lar surah in every rakah?” Theman replied, “I have great lovefor it.” Prophet MuhammadSAW said, “Your love for thissurah has earned you entry toParadise.” Surah Al-Ikhlaashas been described as beingequal to one-third of theQur’an. Reciting it has thesame reward as reciting one-third of the Qur’an. ProphetMuhammad SAW said to thecompanions, “assemble in mypresence, for I will recite toyou one-third of the Qur’an.”When they had assembled,Prophet Muhammad SAWcame out to them and recitedsurah Al-Ikhlaas, and then hereturned to his home. Thecompanions began speaking toone another about it.

Senior citizens and the caretakers of aged individuals mayexamine the following information in order to treat woundsmore effectively.Wound Treatment - When a wound appears, it is vital to takeaction immediately so that it heals properly without complica-tions. Wounds are not limited to cuts and scrapes. Small punc-ture wounds must also be taken seriously as infection is com-mon. Untreated wounds may become chronic, meaning theyeither reoccur, heal slowly, or cease the healing process. Takethe following steps when a wound first appears. If the woundis bleeding, apply pressure until the bleeding stops. If the bleed-ing does not stop on its own, call 911.-Remove any dirt, glass, or debris if possible.-Use soap or a saline solution to clean the wound. Cover thewound with a sterile bandage.-Have the wound examined as soon as possible at the hospitalor a clinic. -Consider courtesy transportation to and from Se-nior Medical Associates.-Follow the instructions of the physician. Take the medicine asprescribed even if the wound and symptoms disappear.Risk Factors of Chronic Wounds - A wound becomes chronicwhen the body’s ability to heal becomes hindered. When notproperly maintained, chronic wounds may lead to diabetic ul-cers, infection, and inflammation, and may require surgery oran extended hospital stay. The following factors make a woundmore likely to become chronic. Infection forces the immunesystem’s efforts away from healing the wound as it attemptsto eradicate the disease. Necrosis creates a buffer of dead skinthat the blood stream has trouble accessing to provide oxygenand nutrients. Bleeding opens wounds and undoes much of thehealing process, requiring the body to try again. Vitamin C andzinc deficiency slows and limits the body’s healing process.Immobility causes constant friction or pressure to specific ar-eas, irritating the wound. Moisture exposes the wound to bac-teria while dryness makes bleeding and necrosis more likely.Senior Skin Care - In old age, not all wounds are caused byinjury. Certain factors such as diabetes and immobility makewounds more likely to occur, as does the limited regenerativeability of people in their later years.

In a society where people live only for the satisfaction of theirown desires, it surely is not possible to maintain peace, loveand amity. In such a society, human relations depend on mu-tual interests. When there is no reason for one to be sincere,honest, reliable or well-behaved, nothing stands in the way ofdissimulation, falsehood, or betrayal. The members of suchsocieties have “cast God away behind their backs (with con-tempt)” (Qur’an, 11:92) and thus never acknowledged the fearof God. Since they cannot “make a just estimate of God,” theyare unmindful of the day of judgement and the day of account.This situation naturally brings on the ethical degeneration andmoral collapse that we see in many societies today. When ev-ery individual thinks of nothing but the satisfaction of his ownneeds and desires, everyone else, including his family andfriends, have secondary importance. Not knowing by whom,when or how misdeeds will be committed in such a society,people live spiritually in a condition of great fear and distress.General distrust and suspicion cause them to lead very un-happy lives. In a society where all kinds of moral values aredisregarded, the outlook of people on notions such as family,honesty and chastity is quite alarming, for they have no fear ofGod. As stated in the verse, “Were you to follow the commonrun of those on earth, they will lead you away from the way ofGod” (Qur’an, 6:116), that most of society share a commoncharacter creates a “mass” psychology that reinforces the al-ready-existing disbelief. God describes such societies that areunmindful of Him and the Hereafter as “ignorant” in the Qur’an.And they are ignorant in that sense. Because the members ofan ignorant society are not devoted to God, they go astrayfrom His path in different ways. They follow people who areincompetent servants of God just like themselves, taking themas examples and adhering to their ideas as absolute truths. Ulti-mately an ignorant society ends up a closed society that in-creasingly blinds itself, becoming further and further divorcedfrom reason and conscience. God describes in the Qur’an witha striking parable how such a life, resting upon a vain and cor-rupt basis, is destined to be ruined: “Which then is best? Hethat lays his foundation on piety to God and His good pleasure?Or he that lays his foundation on an undermined sand-cliff readyto crumble to pieces? And it does crumble to pieces with him,into the fire of hell. And God does not guide people that dowrong.” (Qur’an, 9:109) There is yet another point to be re-membered: Every society and every person has the opportu-nity to be rid of the indoctrination, way of life and philosophyof ignorance. God sends them messengers who warn themand inform them of the existence of God and the hereafter andwho tell them the real meaning of life. In our day, the guide ofall people is the Qur’an, which shows the right way and leadspeople from darkness to light.

Abu Umamah reported,“The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), was asked, ‘Whatsupplication finds the greatest acceptance?’ He answered: ‘Aprayer offered in the middle of the latter part of the night andafter the prescribed Prayers’.’ (Reported by Tirmidhi with asound chain of authorities) Abu Hurairah reported, the ProphetMuhammad (S.A.W) said, “The servant is nearest to his Lordwhen he is prostrating to Him, so make supplication in thisstate.” (Muslim) There are very many hadith found in variousbooks on this subject.Starting the Supplication with Allah’sPraise and Blessings on His Prophet. Fudalah b. ‘Ubaid reportedthat the Prophet, peace be upon him, heard a man supplicatingduring prayer. He did not glorify Allah, nor did he invokeblessings on the Prophet. The Prophet, peace be upon him,said, “He has been hasty.” Then he called the man and saideither to him, or to someone else, “When any one of you prays,he should begin by glorifying and praising his Lord and then heshould invoke blessings on the Prophet, peace be upon him,and after that he should supplicate Allah for anything he wishes.”

So Allaah (SWT) instructs us to do our dutyor carry out the five pillars of Islam. And inaddition to the five pillars, we must also in-vest our tomorrow, that is, develop and main-tain our Iman or faith and Islamic lifestyle.So on the Day of Judgment, besides the fivepillars, what can we do to prepare ourselvesfor our tomorrow? As noted in the hadith(Bukhari / Muslim): every child is born a Mus-lim, in total submission to God. Some par-ents take their children off the path of Godfor the sake of the Dunya. And on the Day ofQiyamah or Judgment, those parents and chil-dren will become enemies because they werebusy fighting for the Dunya. So beware par-ents of what you teach your children in thislife: don’t prepare your children only for theDunya, but also teach them about Allaah andthe Quran, and prepare them also for thehereafter. To put things in perspective, askyourself if you and your children are pre-pared to answer the following five questionson the Day of Judgement:1. What did you do in your youth? (Did youlearn the Quran etc. ?)2. How have you spent your life? ( Did youlive by five pillars of Islam and practice Imanetc.?)3. What have you done with the knowledge Igave you? (Did teach others about Islam etc.)4. How did you earn your money or wealth?(Was it halal or haram, did you steal fromanyone etc.?)5. How did you use your wealth that Allahgave you? (Did you give zakat, performdawah etc.?)According to Prophet Muhammad (SAW)(Hadith reference), everyone will have to an-swer these five questions on the Day ofJudgement. Allaah (SWT) gave us these ques-tions ahead of the Day of Judgement so wecan better prepare ourselves, brothers andsisters.Yes, Allaah (SWT) has given us permissionto enjoy the beautiful things in this world,the Dunya. But he also tells us don’t onlyinvest in the Dunya, but make sure to pre-pare our children and ourselves for the here-after and guide them on the “SiratulMustaqeem” or right path. Live a life ofImaan. Allaah (SWT) has provided the frame-work for Imaan, namely, the Qur’aan.

Every day when we make dua for oursituation as well as for all those suf-fering in this world; we will be onthe path to righteousness, as pre-scribed by Allah (SWT). Allah (SWT)directs us to give our wealth to or-phans and the needy; our wealth con-sists of our assets, our time and ourduas. “ And when My servants askyou, [O Muhammad], concerning Me- indeed I am near. I respond to theinvocation of the supplicant when hecalls upon Me. So let them respondto Me [by obedience] and believe inMe that they may be [rightly]guided.” Let us please rememberthose in need, they may be hundredsof miles away, but we cannot isolateourselves to only be concerned withthose situation that are close to us.Allah (SWT) will answer our duasand change the condition of ourbrothers and sisters in need, and Hewill also reward us generously andimprove our lives as well.

Thatis why he went back inside.” Then theProphet SAW emerged from his home andsaid, “I told you that I would recite one-third of the Qur’an. That is indeed one-third of the Qur’an.” A man heard an-other man reciting (in the prayers): “Say,‘He is Allaah, the One.’” And he recited itrepeatedly. In the morning he went tothe Prophet SAW and informed him aboutthat as if he considered that the recitationof that surah by itself was not enough.Prophet Muhammad SAW said, “By Himin Whose Hand my life is, it is equal toone-third of the Qur’an.” Briefly and inconclusion, surah Al-Ikhlaas is one of theshortest chapters in Qur’an, yet it is oneof the most profound. It is a chapteroutlining the foundation of a Muslim’sfaith, and it is equal to a third of theQur’an. (Allaah SWT Knows best)
