Profile
The construction of the skyscraper started in 2005.[1] It was completed in 2011.[1] Designed by architectural firms Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and Callison, it is the tallest building in Kuwait at 412.6 m (1,354 ft).[1] It is also the tallest sculpted tower in the world. Turner Construction was in charge of the tower's construction.
The tower was included in the list of the best inventions of 2011 by TIME magazine.[2]
