1. INTRODUCTION Korean National Oil Corporation Vietnam (KNOC Vietnam) is planning to commence the pigging for 6” condensate pipeline using condensate fluid during normal operation. The following is the requirement for engineering of pig launcher and fabrication of it.

2. PURPOSE This document is to highlight the above mentioned requirements.

3. SCOPE OF WORK The following will be scope of work for 6” condensate pipeline pig launcher:

Tag name shall be 220-L-3501, Pig Launcher for 6” condensate pipeline. Provide engineering for pig launcher 6” as per specification attached here after

and ASME and statuary codes. Provide material and fabrication, testing and painting as per attached

specification and codes. Packing and transportation to KNOC warehouse. The launcher fabrication is required ASME stamp.

4. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

4.1 The pig launcher shall be designed as per ASME VIII Dev.1 and attached

specification and datasheet. Vendor shall calculate all requirements as per code required such as pressure wall thickness, nozzles, reinforcements of nozzles, fix support and sliding support. All design documents shall be submitted to KNOC for review, comments and approval. The relevant flange for nozzles of pig launcher shall be referred to piping class 3A1 as per VN01-200-30-L-SP-0001. The thickness calculation shall not be included 3mm of corrosion allowance.

4.2 The pig launcher shall be fabricated to install with slope 1:20 as per data sheet. 4.3 The numbering of document shall be followed as per requirement in VN01-000-00-X-

AA-0001 and its summary. 4.4 Vendor shall submit all required documents as per the list in VNO1-230-30-M-SP-

1010 Rev B2 with required copies as well as submitted during tender. 4.5 The materials shall be provided with well known, popular manufacturing and shall be

subjected approval by KNOC before proceeding with procurement. The materials shall be supplied with mill certificates and inspection certificates and shall not be from China, India, and Asian Countries but may be from G7 countries, Spain, Korea, and EU.

4.6 The quick closure shall be supplied with device for installation of locking device and

shall be approved by KNOC before purchasing.

4.7 Vendor shall submit the relevant WPS (welding specification procedure) with its

qualified documents, welder qualified certificates and relevant fabrication procedure. The vendor shall at least maintain the ISO 9001 quality control certificate and ASME certificate for fabrication and repair of pressure vessel.

4.8 All the critical steps shall be witnessed by KNOC QC engineer and the notice shall be

informed to KNOC 03 days in advance. 4.9 The hydrotesting shall be done with chart recorder which mentioned the equipment

tag, test pressure, test medium, and scale of chart recorder, witness name. 4.10 The painting system shall be system A of VN01-000-40-N-AA-0211 with minimum 350

microns.

4.11 The pig launcher shall have the name plate.
