Female feticide—the selective abortion of female fetuses—is killing upwards of one million females in India annually with far- ranging and tragic consequences. Female feticide is driven by many factors, but primarily by the prospect of having to pay a dowry to the future bridegroom of a daughter. While sons offer security to their families in old age and can perform the rites for the souls of deceased parents and ancestors, daughters are perceived as a social and economic burden.Legally, however, female feticide is a penal offence. Strict laws and penalties are in place for violators.

Prof. Shekhar Adhikari, Dean, College Development, Allahabad University said ‘Raghuvamsha’ is a Sanskrit mahakavya which narrates the stories releated to the family of Dillipa, namely the Raghu dynasty which includes three kings Raghu, Dasharath and Ram. He said this epic is a military treatise which includes topics about state, kingship, diplomacy etc. King should be brave but should work in the welfare of the people. King should control his senses.
Chief Guest Prof. K.B. Pandey, Vice-chancellor, Nehru Gram Bharti University, Allahabad said Sanskrit is a neglected language. Whole education system is declining day by day. Students and research scholar study only at the surface level. Deep study of the subject is the need of the hour.
President, Shri Pankaj Jaiswal, Chairman, Governing Body of the College praised the seminar and said that enhance the knowledge of our students and make them aware to our culture and strength the unity of our country. He encouraged students to do research work on this topic, this seminar will help us. Vice-principal, Dr. Rama Singh gave vote of thanks.

Weakness:-
(i) We have no control over appointing our teachers on regular posts and for this we have to depend on the parent body i.e. Allahabad University.
(ii) We have not been entrusted with an open arm in designing our curriculum.(ii) We have no sufficient area for the sport.
