What is Animation ?Animation is the rapid display of a sequence
ofimages of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions inorder to create
an illusion of movement. It is aboutmoving something which cannot
move itself. Timeand space play a critical role in animation. It is
an
optical illusion of motion due to the phenomenon ofpersistence
of vision, and can be created anddemonstrated in a number of ways.
The mostcommon method of presenting animation is as amotion picture
or video program, although severalother forms of presenting
animation also exist.
A career in Multimedia or animation can prove everybit as
rewarding and much more fun! The Indiananimation industry is making
huge strides filledlargely by global opportunities. In fact by
2009,animation will be a global $75 billion industry.

2008 by the Aroma Education Society, Udaipur to impart

Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication
