Als Pioniere der britischen Heavy Metal-Szene sind Iron Maiden die erfolg-reichste Band ihres Genres. 1975 gegründet, sind Iron Maiden ein globales Phänomen, mit Auftritten in bislang 60 Ländern weltweit. Ihre Book of Souls-Tour begann 2016, in deren Verlauf die Band vor mehr als 1,3 Millio-nen Fans auf 117 Konzerten in 36 Ländern auftrat.Für ihre letzten drei Tourneen reisten die Band und ihre Crew in besonders gestalteten Flugzeugen. In Anspielung auf ihr Maskottchen Eddie “Ed Force One” benannt, schmückte jedes Flugzeug das Design des jeweiligen Albums und der dazugehörigen Welttournee. Pilot war kein geringerer als der Lead Sänger Bruce Dickinson selbst, der auch als Pilot bei der Charter-Fluggesellschaft Astraeus tätig ist, von der die beiden Boeing 757 stammen, die auf den beiden Touren 2008 und 2011 zum Einsatz kamen. Sammle jetzt die Serie aus bislang drei originalgetreu nachgebildeten Flug-zeugmodellen von den Somewhere Back in Time-, Final Frontier- und Book of Souls-Touren in den Maßstäben 1:500 und 1:200!

Pioneers of the British heavy metal scene, Iron Maiden are the most successful band in their genre. Founded in 1975, Iron Maiden are a global phenomenon, having performed in over 60 countries around the world. Their Book of Souls Tour which started in 2016 saw them play to over 1.3 million fans over 117 shows in 36 countries.For their three last tours, the band and crew have been touring in specially branded aircraft. Nicknamed “Ed Force One” after the band’s mascot Eddie, each aircraft sported a design of the album and the corresponding world tour. Pilot was none other than lead singer Bruce Dickinson himself, as he was also a commercial pilot with the charter airline Astraeus, the owner of the Boeing 757 aircraft used on their 2008 and 2011 tours. Now is your chance to collect the series of three authentically decorated aircraft models from the Somewhere Back in Time, The Final Frontier and The Book of Souls world tours in the 1/500 and 1/200 scales!
