Aims Of Camp:•

The role of a camp is to use the outdoors to not

only enrich the curriculum, but to provide opportunities for personal growth and social development. To this end the camp will have the following learning objectives for the students:

• To build confidence and self esteem through a range of outdoor activities

• To foster respect and care for the environment

• To develop respect and concern for others while participating in physical activity

• For safety reasons, adult helpers may be asked to belay. They will be taught by an instructor how to do this and will be supervised.

• At the end of each activity, all groups will rotate to a new activity station.
