Bio My name is Michael Fua and I am currently the Member Committee Vice President for Marketing, Communications and Strategic Initiatives in AIESEC Philippines. Throughout my five years of AIESEC experience, I’ve held various team member and team leader roles. I have held three executive board positions in the past three years—once for my local committee (UPD) and twice for the member committee. I believe these experiences have moulded me to be tougher and wiser, both with respect to managing projects/operations and people. I am an action-oriented problem-solver, with a passion for game-changing ideas. I am also goal-oriented; I believe that there are always ways to achieve one’s goal most efficiently and effectively without having to settle for the mediocre. I believe in the saying, “limit plus one,” and continuously strive to give my hundred percent. I am a proactive learner, and aside from my advanced knowledge in Marketing, Communications and Project Management, I have taken many opportunities to explore the different functions in AIESEC. Suffice to say, I have gained significant skills in leadership, management, sales, finance and team management throughout my stay in AIESEC, and I make it a point to always take whatever I’ve learned with me. My passion is helping people explore and develop their potential. In all opportunities, I seek the best ways to guide and develop people, may it be towards professional or personal growth, and I find most fulfilment in seeing them achieve what they thought to be impossible before. Last and most importantly, I believe in the power of people to create positive social impact. The need for it is strong and evident, and I believe that something can be done and especially can be done through and by AIESEC. This is the vision that I aim to fight for.

My name is Michael Fua and I am currently the Member Committee Vice President for

Marketing, Communications and Strategic Initiatives in AIESEC Philippines. Throughout my five years of

AIESEC experience, I’ve held various team member and team leader roles.

I have held three executive board positions in the past three years—once for my local committee (UPD)

and twice for the member committee. I believe these experiences have moulded me to be tougher and

wiser, both with respect to managing projects/operations and people.

I am an action-oriented problem-solver, with a passion for game-changing ideas. I am also goal-oriented;

I believe that there are always ways to achieve one’s goal most efficiently and effectively without having

to settle for the mediocre. I believe in the saying, “limit plus one,” and continuously strive to give my

hundred percent.

I am a proactive learner, and aside from my advanced knowledge in Marketing, Communications and

Project Management, I have taken many opportunities to explore the different functions in AIESEC.

Suffice to say, I have gained significant skills in leadership, management, sales, finance and team

management throughout my stay in AIESEC, and I make it a point to always take whatever I’ve learned

with me.

My passion is helping people explore and develop their potential. In all opportunities, I seek the best

ways to guide and develop people, may it be towards professional or personal growth, and I find most

fulfilment in seeing them achieve what they thought to be impossible before.

Last and most importantly, I believe in the power of people to create positive social impact. The need for

it is strong and evident, and I believe that something can be done and especially can be done through

and by AIESEC. This is the vision that I aim to fight for.
