Time is passing by quickly and September is already here! For most of us,

that’s not a good thing, but lets be optimistic—at least summer 2013 is closer

every day! :)

So, what has been happening in AIESEC Croatia in August!? We all were a little bit

lazy (but weather conditions were not letting us be

hardworking as usual :P), however, we managed to do a lot—

our World in Your Hands people were searching for interns

and matching every day, EPs were enjoying there life-

changing internship experience, your MC attended International

Conference in Russia,...keep reading and find out what else has

been happening!

We hope that you rested well, that your batteries are full

and that we can continue our amazing term in even higher

AIESEC International Congress has been held in Moscow, Russia. More than 600 delegates (AI, MCPs, MC members, NST and LCPs) gathered to set directions for the upcoming

term!

AIESEC Croatia also had representatives - Kate, Anja, Dženita & Kiki! IC experience was amazing—you can really feel that international spirit of our organization when you are surrounded with young people from every part of the Globe get-ting together to change our world and make it a

better place!

New EP arrived—Slobodan (a.k.a Freeman)

ER guys are proud to announce that “Savjet mladih Grada Labina” has

been re-raised. ER team is preparing for Sales drive starting in Septem-

ber. Making list of the companies, updating contacts and proposals.

PR&M team is planning the promotion of the upcoming projects. We

are also working on visitcards and other needed materials in cooperation

Preparations for Re-planning for LCs

Created guide and template on how to conduct the re-planning of

September on local level. Guide has been sent to LCPs.

MC Re-planning

Created flow of planning and discussed individually with each MC

member about preparation needed for the MC re-planning.

Attended Global Legislation at IC.

Part of membership criteria to represent Croatia in all global legislations.

Net Promoter Score information gathered

In IC there was a lot of information about how to assess quality of our programs and we will

pilot feedback surveys until October.

MC Individual Strategic Meetings

Individual meeting with each MCVP to discuss about progress of function and how to develop

more our strategies so that we can support more the LC Plans.

This process will be complete with MC and LC Re- Planning.

SG Meeting

I prepared template for SG meeting with all information about our plan and our progress so

far and my MC filled all functional details.

IC Related Stuff

Country coaching with AI—our country coach is Teo Koloveros from AI

NST Grants Responsible – I had a meeting and transition with Andrea

Requests – I created calculation for AI fee, CEE fee, VF and send reqests to LCs

ills and Invoices – I paid AI fee, IC fee, CEE fee and our bills :D

Statut – with Dean and Kristina (our LCPs) I reviewed national statut and agreed about changes we want to make.

Legality of ICX – I had a meeting with Neva and Leo where we agreed how we will work. Currently I am trying to agree meeting with president of IAESTE because we will try together solve this problem.

AFM – Dženi, Ivan (OCP) and I had a meeting where we agreed about responsabilities and ddl for our

Hello, ekipa! :)

Already August is over and people are coming back to their cities and AIESEC offices are starting to

operate normally (polako, polako :P) For MC, August was a very intense month since 4 of us travelled

to IC in Moscow, an unforgettable conference!

One of the most AMAZING parts of being member of AIESEC are for sure the international

conferences. You meet lots of new people, you gain knowledge, you get to see another country and

you promote your country! I hope this year we will have more members representing Croatia abroad!

As we are moving in September, I would like to leave you with few thoughts…

We are all preparing for recruitments now in our LCs, we are preparing to promote/ sell AIESEC to

other students BUT are we aware of WHY are we promoting these opportunities? What is the unique,

the worth trying for element of our organization that we want other people to see?

WHY do you believe in AIESEC?

Why should another student join?

For me answering these questions can make you feel certain when you go for recruitment, when you

need to step out of your comfort zone and approach a stranger just to introduce to him/her

something that you believe in, nothing more, nothing less.
