ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Sri Ramakrishna Ins�tute of Technology (SRIT), an
Autonomous Ins�tu�on, affiliated to Anna University is
one among the most eminent Educa�onal Ins�tu�ons in

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Electronics and Communica�on Engineering was started in 2002. The Department offers B.E. Electronics and Communica�on Engineering Programme accredited by NBA and M.E. Communica�on Systems. The department has well experienced and well qualified senior faculty members specialized in Communica�on, VLSI, Image Processing, Embedded Systems and Wireless Networks. The department is a Recognized Research Centre of Anna University, Chennai. The department has well established laboratories with state of art facili�es. Electronics and Circuits Laboratory has been modernized under AICTE-MODROB scheme. The students are imparted with profound knowledge and prac�cal skills and are mo�vated to undergo internships/ Inplant training in India and abroad.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
Antenna is one of the key components in wireless communica�on systems. The rapid growth in wireless communica�on technology necessitates the need to design antennas with desirable features according to the applica�on domain. Hence, a lot of researches is being focused towards the design of new broadband antennas, mul�band antennas, smart antennas, reconfigurable antennas, wearable antennas and so on. Since there are number of challenges in the design of antennas, a short term training programme on this topic to the teaching fraternity would be very beneficial to enrich their knowledge and to carry out advanced research in antenna domain. The objec�ve of this STTP is to train the par�cipants in both fundamental and research levels.

Eligible par�cipants are requested to send the filled
a p p l i c a � o n a n d s p o n s o rs h i p c e r � fi c a te t o t h e
correspondence address or scanned copy of the filled form
through mail on or before the last date. The number of
par�cipants is limited to 40 and the selec�on is based on first
come-first serve basis.
There is . However, the cer�ficates No Registra�on Fee
will be issued only when the par�cipants a�end the course
for the en�re dura�on.

This STTP is open to Faculty members and Research
scholars of AICTE approved Engineering colleges and
RF/Microwave Engineers.
