A good day at Cadwell Park yesterday, some great drives and good battles throughout the day. Well done to everyone who finished the event, commiserations to Dave and Alice Tinn on their unfortunate retirement with just over a stage to go Drive of the day had to be Andrew Bayliss and Chris Sharpe-Simkiss in the BMW Compact, starting the event 50th and finishing 6th overall. Well done.
Thank to the organisers and marshal for putting on a great rally. My first time at Cadwell Park and certainly not my last. The stages was brilliant, nothing like I'd driven before.
Big thanks to all organisers and marshals great event and well done on getting all 10 stages to run! Shame we lost SS2 we had the advantage when it was wet and were mixing it in the top ten for the first two! Great to be awarded spirit of the rally award for our efforts!
Just about recovered from what was a fantastic fun day on Sunday at Cadwell. I would be grateful if you would pass on our sincerest thanks to all involved, the day was professionally run and every member of the team was happy to help.
All I would say is that every single one of you worked so bloody hard, not just over the weekend but prior to the event. We all had our challenges at some point this weekend & overcame them all. I'm sure Alan would have been proud.
Another good rally completed! Thanks to John, all the organisers, marshals and all involved in the event for us to be able have a play on slick run event run on a great and different type of venue. Thanks to David for the ride had a good laugh and enjoyed the event especially the long stages (first and last couple) using the Mountain section!
Just a note to say thank you for the trophies that you sent to us as we were unable to stay for the awards and thank you again for such a fun event. We will be back but we have earmarked 1st in class trophy next year! Best wishes, Royston and Bridge Carey.
Excellent event as always. Big thanks to all the Marshals, Medical Crews and Recovery, the Organisers, and anyone else that makes this one of the best events of my rally calendar.
