DESEMBER 2010 AHLI PARLIMEN SETIAWANGSA RASMI KABB WANGSA MAJU WANGSA MAJU - Ahli Parlimen Setiawangsa, Dato' Sri Zulhasnan Rafique merasmikan program Kaunter Aduan Bergerak Bersepadu (KABB) anjuran Biro Pengaduan Awam (BPA), Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Pejabat Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur dengan kerjasama Rukun Tertangga Seksyen 10, Persatuan Belia Wawasan Gemilang, Pusat Aktiviti Masyarakat dan KEMAS Seksyen 10 pada 28 April 2012 di Perkarangan Blok B1, Seksyen 10 Wangsa Maju Kuala Lumpur. Sepanjang program yang dimulakan pada jam 8.30 pagi hingga 1.00 petang, sebanyak 14 aduan dan 85 pertanyaan direkodkan daripada 500 pengunjung yang hadir melihat aktiviti yang dijalankan termasuk pameran dari agensi kerajaan dan pemeriksaan kesihatan. Sebanyak 13 agensi terlibat dalam aktiviti ini termasuklah dari Jabatan Penerangan, Jabatan Pertahanan Awam, Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan, Jabatan Kesihatan, Agensi Antidadah Kebangsaan, Jabatan Agama Islam, Majlis Agama Islam, Telekom Malaysia Berhad, Rukun Tetangga Seksyen 10, Persatuan Belia Wawasan Gemilang Seksyen 10, Pusat Aktiviti Masyarakat Seksyen 10 dan KEMAS Seksyen 10. Pengarah Aduan BPA, Encik Hee Hon Ming yang turut berucap dan Pengarah BPA, Pejabat Wilayah Persekutuan, Encik Lee Soon Hoe turut hadir di program ini. SETIAWANGSA MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT OFFICIATED IMCC AT WANGSA MAJU WANGSA MAJU - Setiawangsa Member of Parliament, Dato' Sri Zulhasnan Rafique officiated the Integrated Mobile Complaints Counter (IMCC) organized by the Federal Territory office of Public Complaints Bureau (PCB), Prime Minister's Department in collaboration with Section 10 Rukun Tetangga, Wawasan Gemilang Youth Association, Community Activity Centre and KEMAS on 28 April 2012 at Block B1 Foyer, Section 10, Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur. During the programme which was from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm, a total of 14 complaints and 85 inquiries were recorded from 500 visitors. The visitors participated in the activities carried out, including exhibition by government agencies and health screening. A total of 13 agencies were involved in these activities namely Information Department, Civil Defence Department, Election Commission, Road Transport Department, Department of Health, National Anti-Drug Agency, Federal Territory Islamic Department, Islamic Religious Council, Telecom Malaysia Berhad, Section 10 Rukun Tetangga, Wawasan Gemilang Youth Association, Community Activity Centre and KEMAS. There was also a speech by the Director of Complaints, Mr Hee Hon Ming. The Director of PCB Federal Territory office, Mr Lee Soon Hoe was also present.

700 KEHADIRAN DI MESRA RAKYAT KANGAR PERLIS KANGAR - 700 pengujung yang terdiri dari Pengerusi Jawatan Kuasa Kemajuan Kampung, Ketua-ketua kampung, Guru Besar Sekolah, peniaga-peniaga serta pengerusi persatuan hadir di Program MESRA Rakyat anjuran bersama Biro Pengaduan Awam (BPA), Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Pejabat Negeri Pulau Pinang/Kedah/Perlis dan Pejabat Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri di Kompleks D'Mara Behor Lateh, Kangar, Perlis pada 26 April 2012. Program yang bermula pada jam 9.00 pagi telah dirasmikan oleh Exco Kerajaan Negeri Perlis, Encik Ahmad Bakri bin Dato' Ali dan turut dihadiri Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Aduan), Encik Azlan bin Man serta Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Kuala Perlis, Encik Mat bin Haji Hassan. Sepanjang dialog diadakan, seramai 9 pengadu membangkitkan sebanyak 38 aduan yang kebanyakkannya berkisar kepada masalah bantuan banjir, penyelanggaran parit dan longkang, masalah sosial serta jalan yang kurang sempurna dan bertanyakan elaun yang masih belum diterima. Selain berdialog, kaunter-kaunter aduan dan pameran juga diadakan bagi memudahkan masyarakat membuat aduan serta mendapatkan informasi berkenaan peranan dan tanggungjawab agensi. Walaupun dengan cuaca yang agak panas sepanjang perjalanan program dibawah khemah, sambutan masyarakat untuk berdialog amat menggalakan sehingga terpaksa dihentikan pada jam 12.45 tengahari berikutan masih ramai lagi yang mehu mengemukakan aduan.

700 PEOPLE ATTEND KANGAR MESRA RAKYAT KANGAR - 700 people consisting of the Chairman of the Village Development Committee, Heads of Village, school headmasters, businessmen and Chairmen of various associations attended the MESRA Rakyat Programme jointly organized by Penang/Kedah/Perlis office of Public Complaints Bureau (PCB), Prime Minister's Department and the State Secretary Office held at D'Mara Behor Lateh Complex on 26 April 2012. The programme which began at 9.00 am was officiated by the State Government EXCO, Mr Ahmad Bakri bin Dato' Ali. Deputy Director General (Complaints), Mr Azlan bin Man and Kuala Perlis State Assemblyman for Kuala Perlis, Mr Mat bin Hassan were also present. During the dialogue, a total of 9 complainants raised 38 complaints mostly centred on the flood relief issue, drains maintenance, social problems, poor road condition and delay in receiving allowance from the authorised agencies. In addition to the programme, complaints counters and exhibition booths from the various agencies were also set up in order to facilitate the community to lodge complaints and obtain information on the role and responsibilities of the agencies. Even though the weather was rather hot throughout the programme which was held under a tent, the dialogue session received overwhelming response from the audience and it had to be ended at 12.45pm due to time constraint. For those who were unable to speak during the dialogue, the PCB counter was still available until 2.00 pm.

ISU-ISU INFRASTRUKTUR DIBANGKITKAN DI PROGRAM MESRA RAKYAT BINTULU SARAWAK (21 APRIL 2012) - Program Mesra Rakyat anjuran Biro Pengaduan Awam (BPA) Negeri Sarawak dengan kerjasama Pejabat Residen Bahagian Bintulu telah diadakan di Dewan Suarah Bintulu pada 21 April 2012. Seramai 365 orang yang terdiri daripada Ketua-ketua Jabatan, ketua-ketua masyarakat dan orang ramai telah hadir ke program ini. BPA Negeri Sarawak telah menjemput Timbalan Ketua Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak, YBhg. Datu Haji Misnu bin Haji Taha untuk merasmikan dan sekaligus mempengerusikan sesi dialog program ini. Turut hadir ke program ini ialah Tuan Haji Muhamad Yakup bin Kari, Residen Bahagian Bintulu, Encik Abdul Halim bin Abang Naili, Ketua Penolong Setiausaha Pejabat Setiausaha Persekutuan Sarawak, dan Puan Biti Anak Anggot, Pengarah BPA Negeri Sarawak. YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah, Ketua Pengarah BPA telah memberikan ucapan alu-aluan beliau di program ini. Ahli-ahli panel yang turut hadir adalah terdiri daripada 25 buah Jabatan/Agensi Persekutuan dan Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak. Isu-isu berkaitan infrastruktur seperti isu pembinaan jalan raya dan kerosakan jalan raya merupakan isu yang paling banyak dibangkitkan oleh orang ramai pada Program Mesra Rakyat kali ini. Sepanjang program dijalankan, sebanyak 46 aduan telah direkodkan dan maklum balas daripada Ketua-ketua Jabatan/Agensi yang berkenaan telah dijelaskan terus kepada pengadu semasa sesi dialog dijalankan.

INFRASTRUCTURE ISSUES RAISED IN MESRA BINTULU PROGRAMME SARAWAK (21 APRIL 2012) - MESRA Rakyat Programme organized by Sarawak Office of Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) in collaboration with Bintulu Resident Office was held at Dewan Suarah Bintulu on 21 April 2012. The programme attended by 365 people consists of Head of Departments, Head of Communities and public. The programme was launched and chaired by Deputy State Secretary of Sarawak, YBhg. Datu Haji Misnu bin Haji Taha. Tuan Haji Muhamad Yakup bin Kari, Resident Bintulu, Encik Abdul Halim bin Abang Naili, Principal Assistant Secretary of Federal Secretary Office of Sarawak and Puan Biti Anak Anggot, Director of PCB Sarawak Office were also present during the programme. YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah, Director-General of PCB delivered the welcoming speech. The panels include representatives from 25 Federal and Sarawak State Government departments/agencies. Infrastructure issues such as road construction and road damages were the most raised from public during the Mesra Rakyat Programme. A total of 46 complaints were recorded throughout the programme and feedback from the related Head of Departments/Agencies was given to the complainants immediately.

KUNJUNGAN HORMAT KE IBU PEJABAT POLIS BINTULU DAN HOSPITAL BINTULU SARAWAK (20 April 2012) - Ketua Pengarah Biro Pengaduan Awam (BPA), YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah telah mengambil kesempatan membuat kunjungan hormat ke Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Bintulu dan Hospital Bintulu sehari sebelum Program Mesra Rakyat yang diadakan pada 21 April 2012. Kunjungan hormat ini bertujuan untuk mengeratkan hubungan kerjasama antara BPA, PDRM dan Hospital Bintulu demi mempertingkatkan kualiti penyampaian perkhidmatan awam. YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah yang diiringi oleh Puan Biti Anak Anggot, Pengarah BPA Negeri Sarawak telah mengunjungi IPD Bintulu dan telah disambut oleh SUP Madang Usat, Ketua Polis Daerah Bintulu. YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah juga berpeluang melawat "one-stop centre" IPD Bintulu dan DSP Mohd Said Ibrahim, Timbalan Ketua Polis Bintulu telah memperkenalkan peranan dan fungsi "one-stop centre" kepada delegasi BPA. Manakala kunjungan hormat ke Hospital Bintulu disambut oleh Dr. Azlee Ayub, Pengarah Hospital Bintulu dan kakitangan-kakitangan Hospital Bintulu. YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah berkesempatan mengadakan sesi perbincangan dengan kakitangan-kakitangan Hospital Bintulu di samping melawat kaunter bayaran. YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah juga telah memberikan penerangan ringkas peranan dan fungsi BPA semasa kunjungan hormat dibuat.

COURTESY VISIT TO BINTULU DISTRICT POLICE HEADQUARTERS AND BINTULU HOSPITAL SARAWAK (20 April 2011) - Prior to the Mesra Rakyat Programme which was held at Bintulu on 21 April 2012, Director-General of Public Complaints Bureau (PCB), YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah paid a courtesy visit to Bintulu District Police Headquarters and Bintulu Hospital. The objective of the courtesy visit is to strengthen cooperation between PCB, PDRM and Bintulu Hospital in improving the quality of public service delivery. YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah accompanied by Puan Biti Anak Anggot, Director of PCB Sarawak was welcomed by Bintulu Chief Superintendent Madang Usat. YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah also visited the One-Stop Centre of Bintulu District Police Headquarters and Deputy Chief Police of Bintulu, DSP Mohd Said Ibrahim explained the roles and functions of the One-Stop Centre to the PCB delegation. Meanwhile, the courtesy visit to Bintulu Hospital was welcomed by Dr. Azlee Ayub, Director of Bintulu Hospital and his staff. A discussion was held between YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam and staff of the Bintulu Hospital besides visiting the payment counters. YBhg. Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah also briefly explained the roles and functions of PCB during the courtesy visit.

BPA BUKA KAUNTER DI TERMINAL BAS PORT DICKSON PORT DICKSON - Biro Pengaduan Awam, Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Pejabat Negeri Melaka/N.Sembilan telah membuka kaunter aduan sempena program Kaunter Aduan Bergerak (KAB) bertempat di Terminal Bas, Port Dickson, N.Sembilan pada 14 April 2012. Tujuan program diadakan adalah untuk mendekatkan orang ramai dengan BPA selain memberi penerangan tentang peranan dan tanggungjawab BPA kepada masyarakat. Sepanjang program yang berlangsung dari jam 8.00 pagi hingga 2.00 petang, telah menerima 16 pengunjung dan merekodkan 12 aduan.

PCB OPENED COMPLAINTS COUNTER AT PORT DICKSON BUS TERMINAL PORT DICKSON - The Malacca/N.Sembilan office of Public Complaints Bureau (PCB), Prime Minister's Department opened the complaints counter in conjunction with the Mobile Complaints Counter (MCC) programme held at Port, Dickson, Terminal Bus, N.Sembilan on 14 April 2012. The purpose of the programme was to enhance the relationship between PCB and the people besides providing information on PCB's roles and responsibilities. Throughout the programme which ran from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm, PCB recorded 12 complaints from 16 visitors.

PERJUMPAAN KETUA PENGARAH BPA DENGAN KETUA KOMUNIKASI KORPORAT/PEGAWAI PERHUBUNGAN AWAM SIRI 1/2012 PUTRAJAYA - Perjumpaan Ketua Pengarah Biro Pengaduan Awam, Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah dengan Ketua Komunikasi Korporat (KKK)/Pegawai Perhubungan Awam (PPA) Kementerian/Jabatan/Agensi siri 1/2012 diadakan di Audioturium Kompleks Jabatan Perdana Menteri pada 10 April 2012. Dalam perjumpaan yang berlangsung pada jam 2.30 petang dan berakhir pada jam 4.45 petang, tiga Pegawai Kanan BPA yang terdiri daripada Encik Azlan bin Man (Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Aduan), Encik Hee Hon Ming, Pengarah (Aduan) dan YM Tengku Adnin bin Tengku Adnan (Pengarah Perancangan, Inovasi dan Penyelarasan) telah masing-masing membentangkan laporan-laporan berkaitan Analisis Prestasi Pengurusan Aduan, laporan Perlaksanaan Sistem iSPAAA dan Perlaksanaan Pemantauan Akhbar. Perjumpaan pada kali ini, Ketua Komunikasi Korporat, Kementerian Kerja Raya, Encik Devaraj a/l Subramaniam dan Pengurus Besar Pusat Penggilan KWSP, Tuan Haji Bahrudin Jawadi telah membentangkan isu-isu pengurusan aduan awam di organisasi masing-masing. Majlis diakhiri dengan sesi soal jawab yang dipengerusikan oleh Ketua Pengarah sendiri.

MEETING BETWEEN THE DIRECTOR GENERAL WITH COMMUNICATION CORPORATE HEADS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS: NO. 1/2012 PUTRAJAYA - A meeting between the Director General of the Public Complaints Bureau, Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah and Corporate Communication Head/Public Relations Officers was held on 10th April 2012 at Auditorium, Complex B1, Putrajaya. The meeting which started at 2.30 pm and ended at 4.45 pm included presentation of reports on Analysis of Complaints Management performance, Implementation of the iSPAAA System and implementation of the Media Monitoring at all Ministries by Deputy Director General (Complaints), Mr. Azlan bin Man, Director of Complaints, Mr Hee Hon Ming and Director of Planning, Innovation and Coordination, YM Tengku Adnin bin Tengku Adnan, respectively. In addition, representatives from Ministry of Works, the Corporate Communication Head, Mr. S. Devaraj and General Manager of EPF Call Centre, Tuan Haji Bahrudin Jawadi were invited to present public complaints management issues in their respective organizations. The programme ended with a question and answer session chaired by the Director General of PCB, Dato' Dr. Tam Weng Wah.
