ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The registration of the participants with the title of the paper, the names of the authors and abstract

is done by sending registration form and abstract to the e-mail address [email protected]

until 1 April 2019.

The abstract should contain title, names of authors, affiliation for all authors, and e-mail for the

corresponding author. A maximum of 300 words is allowed in the abstract, which should be written

in English. All abstracts are peer-reviewed, and the corresponding author will be notified of abstract

acceptance by e-mail.

The registration form and abstract template are available on the website of the Faculty of

Agriculture http://agro.unibl.org/

PRESENTATIONS

Plenary lectures are provided by the organizer and other papers should be sent individually by

participants.

During the application, authors are eligible to submit the proposal for presentation (oral or poster

presentation), but the final decision for a number of presentations and their type in the specific

thematic field is made by the organizer. All authors will be informed about the decision of the

organizer.

Oral presentations should be made in PowerPoint format and sent to organizer before the section

starts. Poster presentations should be prepared in a B1 format (707 × 1000 mm).

SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPERS

All authors interested in publishing a full paper choose between two options:

1. In the Book of Proceedings which will be published in electronic format at the end of the

Symposium, respectively until 15 July 2019.

2. In the Agro-knowledge Journal (DOI number: 10.7251), published by Faculty of Agriculture,

University of Banja Luka.

The full paper should be prepared according to the Guide for Authors, available at the webpage

http://nub.rs/fileadmin/dokumenti/uputstva/Uputstvo_AGROZNANJE.pdf or on the website of the

Faculty of Agriculture http://agro.unibl.org/

All full paper should be sent to Symposium organizer until 15 May 2019. All full paper will be peer-

reviewed, and the corresponding author will be notified on paper acceptance by e-mail.

The registration fee can be paid to the bank account before the Symposium starts, or directly on the

Symposium participants are obliged to pay other costs of participation.

PRESENTATION OF COMPANIES AND INSTITUTIONS

Interested companies and institutions have several types of presenting their work:

- Advertisement in Symposium Book of Abstracts: full page - 100 € (200 КМ), one page;

- Oral presentation, 15 minutes, 150 € (300 КМ);

- An independent stand in the hotel, 100 € (200 КМ).

Companies, organizations and individuals should send a letter of interest to organizer, until 1 May

2019.

KEY SPEAKERS IN PLENARY PART OF SYMPOSIUM

1. Prof. Mihael Jožef Toman, PhD Department of biology, Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Dr. Mihael J. Toman is a professor at the Department of Biology, Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana. His areas of scientific study include research of biological processes and ecosystems in standing and running freshwater systems and in biological treatment plants, eutrophication and biological assessment of freshwater ecosystems. His special interest is research on circulation and transformation of mercury in aquatic ecosystems and the impacts of various toxic matters on communities. He was active at University of Copenhagen for many years. His bibliography consists of more than 400 units, mostly dealing with freshwater ecology, bio-monitoring, water resource management and environmental protection. He has supervised 13 PhD theses, 10 Master’s Degree theses and 95 graduate theses. He has published 40 original scientific articles in IF journals, numerous professional articles and approx. 100 congress contributions.

2. Prof. Edi Maletić, PhD, Department of Viticulture and Enology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, Croatia.

Dr. Edi Maletić is professor at Department of Viticulture and Enology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb. Teaching courses: Introduction to grape and wine production (Bs), Ampelography, Grapevine nursery production (Ms), Ampelography research methods (PhD). Research interests are Ampelography, Grapevine genetic resources, Clonal selection and Grapevine plant material production. He was principal investigator in several national and international scientific projects, and also in many applied research projects related to native grapevine varieties revitalization. He is author 45 publications referred by Web of Science with sum of citations 381 and H-index 10. Author of many papers and books related to autochthonous grapevine varieties. Croatian delegate and Vice-President of the "Genetic Resources and Vine Selection" Expert Group at OIV (International Organization of Vine and Wine), Paris.

3. Prof. Daniel Falta, PhD, Department of Animal Breeding, Faculty of AgriSciences, Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic.

Dr. Daniel Falta is professor at Department of Animal Breeding, Faculty of AgriScence, Mendel University in Brno. Since 2004 has employed at Faculty of AgriScience, Department of Animal Breeding. University lecturer in Animal Science, Animal Breeding, Dairy Technology, Production Systems, Animal Nutrition. He was participated in several national and international scientific projects, related to dairy cattle breeding. Author/co-author of 29 papers in database Web of Science; 26 papers in database SCOPUS; includes 8 research papers in IF journals, 30 papers in reviewed journals, 18 papers at indexed conferences, 6 professional methodologies and 2 utility models. Since 2014 he is Vice-Dean for External Affairs.

TREBINJE

Trebinje area is located in the southernmost part of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and

Herzegovina. It is also the hinterland of south Adriatic coast – the hinterland of Herceg Novi and

Dubrovnik coastline.

Trebinje has a good road connection to Banja Luka (357 km), Sarajevo (214 km), Podgorica (120

km) and Dubrovnik (28 km). Trebinje is located 45 kilometers from the airport Dubrovnik

(Croatia) and 70 kilometers from the airport Tivat (Montenegro).
