Halverson’s services included design and engineering, steel fabrication, procurement and project management for the entire project. The project required expanding Agrisource’s existing grain storage system by adding a new receiving pit and tunnel with a 15,000 BPH drag conveyor feeding into a new 140’ grain elevator. The new receiving system discharges through a new 7 hole distributor into the new 66’ diameter 250,000 BPH bushel bin, 5 existing bins and a truck load out system. The new bin included an aeration system built into the foundation. A 6,000 BPH industrial sweep anchors the reclaim system which discharges into the new reclaim system. Rounding out the project, Halverson Construction removed a 120’ screw conveyor and installed an upgrade catwalk and new 15,000 BPH drag conveyor to load three of the existing bins. Halverson completed the project on time and on budget and continues to provide maintenance services for Agrisource, Inc.
