IACS Unified Requirement Z23 on Hull Survey for New Construction was issued in March 2007

Further work 1

The Expert Group on New Construction Survey Requirements (EG/NCSR) has been working on an IACS Unified Interpretation (UI) on Survey of New buildings to cover statutory surveys

• The group have recognised that the scope of work in developing an UI needs to encompass more than that covered by IMO Resolution A.948(23) and several regulatory changes which have been approved subsequently
