Free Response Warm Up 3/20/07• Plan your presentation in your sketchbook!

– Tell us the title of your photograph and explain if necessary.– Tell us which type of time and motion study you did (slow

shutter speed to blur motion? sequential motion study? decisive moment?) and which Master was your inspiration.

– Talk about what makes your photograph “Fine Art”• Use Art Element terms: Line, Shape, Space (depth), Texture,

Color, Value• Use Principles of Organization terms: Harmony, Variety, Balance,

Proportion, Dominance, Movement, Economy • And use Photography-Specific Compositional Concepts: Vantage

Point, Framing, Rule of Thirds, etc.)– Talk about what you did with the camera and/or Photoshop to

make a technically sound time and motion study.• When you are done planning your presentation, fill up the rest

of the page with random sketching.
