BLAST AUDIT, SURVEY AND REPORTS
Abbey Grey is able to provide in-depth engineering blast audits. Typical scenarios for an
audit include a four ton truck bomb or indirect fire impact. First, we undertake an initial
desk top threat and risk assessment using site plans, and then, once on the ground,
conduct a vulnerable point analysis as well as a civil engineering technical survey. We
assess construction techniques and robustness of structures to blast load.

Steve Norris was a Conservative Member of Parliament for Oxford East and then Epping Forest, was also Parliamentary Private Secretary in the Departments of Environment, Trade & Industry and the Home Office and in 1992 was appointed Minister for Transport. He is a former Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Party.
Martin Bishop joined Abbey Grey Security Group after completing a successful career within the Engineering sector. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and was formerly Chairman and Managing Partner of one of the UK’s largest firms of Project Managers and Construction Cost Managers.
Rosalind Hayes is a retired British Army officer with over 17 years experience of conflict management in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Balkans and Northern Ireland. Rosalind also has extensive experience in leadership and management, human resources and training.

Derek HorneCEO
Derek Horne is the CEO of Abbey Grey Security Group and an expert in both national and international Security. His distinguished career includes more than 15 years of specialized military experience relating to global security issues. In 1994 he was recruited to become a member of Britain’s Special Air Service (SAS), one of worlds most elite Special Forces units. Derek served with the SAS worldwide and has been involved in counter-terrorist operations throughout the world. In 1999 Derek left the military to pursue a career in the corporate security sector and that same year was recruited to joined the close protection detail for the Saudi Royal family of the late and respected Prince Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud.

A highly experienced Security Operations Manager, Frank Filmer’s work has been critical to the success of security projects worldwide. Frank has been engaged on multiple assignments, where the security environment is ever changing and often extremely hostile. Conducted numerous operation management roles to Government and Commercial contracts in both Northern and Southern Iraq.
