AFTERNOON AT THE MOVIES—Mamma Mia ! Here We Go Again Join the

years after Mamma Mia! The Movie premiered, you’re invited back to
the magical Greek island of Kalokairi in an all-new musical sequel
based on the songs of ABBA. Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is now

BOOK CLUB—November 19th at 1pm Being Mortal by Atul Gawande
Being Mortal looks at the way modern medicine has changed the
experience of dying, what the implications of this change are for
each of us, and what we would need to do to change a system that
knows a lot about prolonging life but little about tending to
death. At the heart of this book is something larger and more
lasting than even its agenda for how to effect change: it is a
deeply humane portrayal of how our society copes with who we really
are. We are not economic beings. We are not political beings. We
are not digital beings or analog beings, social beings or solitary
beings. We are mortal beings. And in that is every important thing
to know about how we must live.

WATERCOLOR CARDS Let’s make Watercolour Cards! This will be a
fun, free flowing class, that will begin with a few quick demo
follow alongs, of small and simple Watercolour scenes. Likely we
will paint winter ones, that we can then cut out and paste onto
blank cards. Great for all occasion cards or Christmas Cards. Also
bring any of your old watercolours that just didn’t work out and we
will “discover” areas that could be cut out and make cards from
those too. Bring along any of your card making, scrap booking
supplies as well as your watercolours and brushes. We will paint on

CHRISTMAS COOKIE DECORATING Join Smarty Cakes for a cookie
workshop (Ages 14 & up). Your session will include instruction
on different techniques used in decorating cookies with Royal Icing
and then you will have the opportunity to decorate your own
cookies. All materials will be supplied including our yummy sugar
cookies which provide the perfect surface for you to work on. Come
prepared with ideas and your imagination and you will take home
your amazing crea-tions, our recipe for sugar cookies and royal
icing.

Cremona School Council

anxiety. Come out and join Alberta Health Services clinical
consultant Katherine Jarrell for an upbeat and practical
session on how to understand anxiety. Leave with ideas on
what we can do to help.
