Staff Quotes (from our interviews)…

What “teamwork” means to us: Be One…Work together to reach a goal that you are all

working towards Support each other and apply rules in unity; Being on a

level playing field Function as a whole, be flexible, know what needs to be

done; If 1 isn’t functioning, then it hurts everything Work together; e.g. one giving instructions & one getting

the project supplies together Ideas come together for a solution of what is best for the

children See the strengths that each person has to contribute.

Staff Quotes (from our interviews)…What “behavior management” means to us: A good learning environment where the instructor is involved with

the students Everyone is following the rules Help support your co-worker and the rules; then students will

listen To be there for the students; instruct the students and deal with

behavior issues at the time that it happens and be consistent and follow through

Talk with children and review rules often; Able to handle and manage a group, make sure the attitude and behavior is okay in the class; be able to adapt

Students listen to you when you are talking, respectful and quiet when need to be and energetic/active when need to be

Instructor is aware of their word choice and tone of voice…and is appropriate.
