Read poetry and create nonfiction work from all over the world. Submit your own writing, read articles and learn new and exciting ways to improve your writing.

HAMA BEADS
Children will use their imagination to design their own pattern on a Hama bead picture. They will also develop their hand eye co-ordination and fine motor skills.

Children will be able to use a variety of media to create beautiful, creative scrapbook pages. These will be about things personal to the children and, where possible, tied into the goings on at DESS! SPEED STACKS CLUB The challenging and competitive nature of Speed Stacks helps develop hand-eye coordination. Stacking also helps train the brain for sports and other activities where the use of both hands is important. Sequencing and patterning are also elements of speed stacking, which can help with reading and math skills.
