DURING A TSUNAMI 1. Follow the evacuation order issued by
the authorities and evacuate immediately. 2. Find a higher ground or a strong, tall
building away from the seashore.
AFTER A TSUNAMI 1. Return only if the authorities declare that it
is safe to do so. 2. Check for injuries and seek medical help of necessary. 3. Report missing persons to people in authority.

Shake - A felt earthquake.
Drop - Unusual sea level change sudden seawater

1. Prepare an emergency kit.
2. Create and practice an evacuation plan to
familarize escape routes.
3. Know your community’s warning systems,
disaster plans and evacuation areas.
