Before You Start
These instructions are for users who use AFS Software. Please otherwise disregard and refer to your Essentials Support Guide.

Backup and Upload Data onto AFS Software
Backing-up configurations and data will save the following;
Run Screens
Yield, Coverage and Machine Data
Client, Farm, Field & Events
Run Lines and Boundaries
Other Display and Guidance Settings
1. BACKUP OF RUN SCREENS
Backing up your Run Screens allows you to; - Transfer Identical Run Screens to other Pro 700 Screens - Backup before USB is formatted or Screen is updated
Step 1: Turn on Machine to Power on Pro 700 with original Case IH Approved USB Step Two: Ensure the Run Screens are on the Pro 700 in the order and format you require Step Three: Turn off Machine to Power off Pro 700 screen Step Four: Once powered off, take out original Case IH USB and insert NEW BLANK
Step Five: Turn on the Machine once again. Once the screen has powered on, it will save all the run screens onto the USB Step Six: Turn off Machine key to Power off Pro 700 screen and once the Pro 700 has powered off, take out the USB THIS USB WILL NOW HAVE THE BACKUP OF ALL RUN SCREENS
Step Seven: Allow precision farming specialists to conduct work on the screen and/or upload new software onto USB (from AFS Software) Step Eight: Once service is complete, use the Backed up USB to upload all Run Screens on the Pro 700 screen. Note: Where Pro 700 has been updated, the original Case IH USB can be inserted, where
the Run Screen will show. Note: Where the original Case IH USB has been formatted to upload new software onto
the screen, the backed up USB should be used to restore the Run Screens
2. BACKUP OF DATA
Before backing-up, ensure that your current Case IH USB is in the screen and it has all
configurations correct and current saved onto the USB. When satisfied with configurations, power off the PRO 700 and ONLY once powered off,
take out the USB. With this USB, insert into a computer, and then copy all files from the USB onto the computer OR another BLANK USB.

Open up My Computer
In the USB, Right Click on the File and Select Copy
In your computer Paste the file (In a Folder
Eg Named Harvest 2015)
3. UPLOAD ONTO AFS SOFTWARE (READ JOB DATA)
Follow the following steps to successfully import your data from USB onto the AFS Software. This allows you to;
- Review Management Trees - View Yield Data - Ability to draw Variable Rate Prescription Maps

Open the Software and Select a Current or New Project
Select Read Job Data to Import the Data
Browse and Select the folder where the
information is This is where you made your backup
Items should show up as seen in this picture. Once confirmed, Click Okay to Import

Deleting Data (Grower) Off Pro 700
You will need to Delete the Coverage Logging on your PRO 700 where using the AFS Software as the AFS Software Written Job will be the only data required on the Pro 700 screen. If you are using the recorded information for mapping (variable rate), etc make sure that you have downloaded and backed up this data and saved on a computer or another
USB before deleting the coverage.
Press on the Data Management Icon
On the bottom of the screen, Press the Delete button

Press the Data Type
Press on the Grower
On the Grower Tab, Select the Grower you would like to delete and select Enter

Press Delete and follow the prompts

Restore AFS Software Written Data onto Pro 700
This will enable you to download onto your Pro 700 screen your updated run lines, boundaries and
management tree.
Select Write Job Data to Import the Data
Ensure you Select the correct Screen the
data will be imported onto EG. AFS Pro 700 Select the File Location (Being the Case IH
USB) Ensure the USB is Blank
This screen will now appear The Data has now successfully saved onto the USB

Insert this USB back into the Pro 700 to restore all Data. Note: Please ensure you load your Run Screens with the subsequent USB prior to doing this to ensure these Run Screens are uploaded as well.
