African Economic Outlook (AEO)( )African Economic Outlook is an annual publication jointly produced by the African Development Bank and the OECD Development Centre since 2001/02. It reviews recent
i d l t i Af i b d ti tieconomic developments in Africa by adopting a comparative approach and a common analytical framework. It provides forecasts for key macroeconomic variables. The 2006/07 AEO covers 31 countries and the theme is ‘Access toAEO covers 31 countries and the theme is Access to Drinking Water and Sanitation’.
African Development Report (ADR)African Development Report is an annual publication which started in 1989. It has become an important source of panalysis and information on developments in Africa. The ADR provides an in-depth analysis of emerging development topics that discuss prospects for Africa’s development.

African Competitiveness Report (ACR)The Bank, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and the World Bank, started yearly assessment of the competitiveness of African economies. This will be published in the African Competitiveness Report (ACR) on a yearly basis The ACR is complemented by an in depth Investmentbasis. The ACR is complemented by an in-depth Investment Climate Assessment for South African, Algeria, Nigeria and Egypt (the SANE economies).
African Development ReviewThe African Development Review is a professional development economics journal that provides a platform for
i l ti l d t l i d iexpressing analytical and conceptual views, and encouraging debate among development specialists, policy makers, scholars and other professionals on African economic and developmental issues. The ERWP has been published since 1983. Since inception, 86 papers have been published.
