Dear Industry leader,

The intensive two days 2nd Annual Africa Food Security Conference 2014 is scheduled to be held in Nairobi, Kenya on 9th-10th September 2014.

Food security remains a growing concern for governments and industry leaders and it is therefore at the forefront of reform agenda for most African states. However, ensuring food security can be a daunting task. There are myriad factors and interrelated parts that, in combination, make food security a complex challenge.

Building on the success of the 1st edition which was held last year, the 2nd Annual AFSC 2014 will feature all inclusive debate, discussion and demonstration as to how to achieve new objectives for regional agriculture and especially how this sector can be included in supplying the global needs while improving living standards locally.

Focus will be on dealing with adverse climatic conditions; improving productivity; incorporating new technologies in food production; establishing the place of the farmer in value chain; fairer agricultural policies; access to finance and risk management; among others. All of these issues and more will be addressed to ensure that infinitely better management of natural and financial resources and more strategic investment are implemented.

AFSC 2014 Exhibition will show case latest technologies and other innovative products and solutions. We look forward to welcoming you to the 2nd Annual Africa Food Security Conference 2014

Yours Sincerely,

Managing Director2nd Annual Africa food security Conference.
