The multidisciplinary FOOD CHOICE theme

People eat from hunger but also to cultivate friendship, to signal socialposition, to express ethical or religious convictions, for comfort and manyother reasons. AGEV was founded in 1977 with the aim of uniting allapproaches to the study of human dietary behaviour. The Associationpromotes exchange among the natural, social, and cultural sciences, inresearch planning and evaluation. AGEV convenes national and internationalconferences for scientists and practitioners from all aspects of nutritionalbehaviour.

Abstracts must be in the style and one of the maximum lengths specified in the current Guide to Authors for Appetite, with scientific and literary standards

assured by the editor(s) nominated by the organisers and agreed by the Exceutive Editors. An initial proposal should be sent to the representative of thepanels of editors, the Contact Editor at s.higgs.1@bham.ac.uk with the subject of the message being Appetite - abstracts proposed.
