I am proud to invite you to the "Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (APS) 2019", the international meeting on aesthetic plastic surgery. This year, APS 2019 will be held with a theme "Holistic approach for aesthetic plastic surgery".

The Congress will provide all participants with state-of-the-art technology and practice in aesthetic plastic surgery and associated fields. Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty, Aging Face Surgery, Breast Surgery, Facial Bone Contouring Surgery, Injectables, Lasers, Fat Grafting, Non-Ablative Resurfacing, Implants, Tissue-Engineering, and Medico-Legal Issues will be covered by exclusively outstanding speakers including the world's most recognized and respected plastic surgeons. They will discuss the foremost concepts of aesthetic plastic surgery and demonstrate their expertise on classical and controversial cases with open debates. The program will be truly enriching for everyone.

The Congress will not only offer a unique and exceptional academic event but also a delightful social gathering. Seoul is a fantastic setting. The event will held from 6th to 7th, April, 2019, Annual meetings coorganized by Korean Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (KSAPS) and the Korean Association of Plastic Surgeons (KAPS), called APS–2019 under the title of 'Holistic approach for aesthetic plastic surgery' at COEX in Seoul, south KOREA.

This year, we have managed to invite many outstanding international speakers as well as many domestic surgeons.

We may have enough opportunities to discuss various pros and cons of each techniques and academic viewpoints of each presentations and improve surgical skills and ideological basis on plastic surgery.

The official languages of the conference are Korean and English with simultaneous translation for better communications between all participants.

Mendelson, Bryan (The Centre for Facial Plastic Surgery, Melbourne, Australia)

Dr Mendelson is in private practice at The Centre for Facial Plastic Surgery in Melbourne Australia. He graduated from Monash University Medical School, Melbourne, and Interned at the Alfred Hospital Melbourne. He trained in general surgery and plastic surgery at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota USA for six years and is certified by the American Board of Surgery and The American Board of Plastic Surgery. This was followed by a fellowship at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery in New York under Doctors Converse, Rees and Aston. Dr Mendelson is known for his contributions on the surgical anatomy of the face. His several important anatomical findings are published in a series of classic papers, on the Surgical Anatomy of the Temple, the retaining ligaments of the orbit and Prezygomatic Space, the Surgical Anatomy of the Mid Cheek as well as the Surgical Anatomy of the Premasseter space and the Jowl. The terms Prezygomatic space and Premasseter spaces were introduced as well as the important surgical concept of Facial Spaces, which is now beginning to be appreciated by plastic surgeons. This anatomical based approach to Aesthetic Surgery has led to numerous invitations to teach and lecture at teaching Courses and Congresses overseas.
