Field Observation Reports will be generated and filed by the Architect of Record for this project. (Miller-Hull Architects) WORK IN PROGRESS: (Refer Also to Pictures on Following Pages) Site Preparation / KIVA Demolition 1. The KIVA structure has now been demolished to just below grade. The contractor continues to separate re-bar from concrete rubble. Much of the concrete has been removed and work has started on removing some of the general interior wood and drywall waste that was deposited outside. 2. Metal continues to be separated from all materials. The contractor has gained testing and clearance to clean interior ductwork (previously designated as asbestos contaminated waste) and recycle it with the other metal. This will help Wright Brothers accommodate the LEED specifications/goals for waste diversion. 3. The newer interior carpet tile is being donated for re-use in a remodeling project in Boise. Building Demolition / Abatement Floor 1 - No progress on this floor from last week. Floor 2 - No progress on this floor from last week. Floor 3 - No progress on this floor from last week. Floor 4 - Preparation of the containment envelope is nearly complete on Floor 4. The floor is under negative pressure, and the contractor expects to start removing ceiling tiles within the next couple days. Floor 5 - All ductwork and piping has been removed. The ductwork is being cleaned and disposed / recycled as normal building waste. - The contractor expects to start wetting the asbestos fireproofing as early as tonight, with removal starting tomorrow. Cardboard “tell tales” have been installed between the layers of
