What is aerops?

A pilot lands at an airport. With one-click, they can pay all applicable fees with their smartphone - directly from the cockpit.All payments are transferred immediately and directly to the airport. The airport billing employee can see in real-time what, who and how much has been paid.The airport employee is no longer side-lined in doing air-craft checks, billing, handling of users and accounting. An employee can focus on other urgent tasks.

Fees paid by the pilot are sent securely and directly to the airport account.The payment process is similar to a money transfer via Paypal. All transactions are subject to European banking regulations. Additonally, aerops generates its own invoice number range for each airport. For example, a pilots invoice can be easily exported to the airport control soft-ware (i.e. Datev) as a CSV fi le.

The solution allows for all pilots to pay fees in real-time. Simply, securely and above all quickly with theirsmartphone. For an airport or airfi eld, you do not require a card reader or other external hardware. An internet connection is all you need.The basis of each charge calculation corresponds tothe airport fee schedule and fl ight information stored in the database. The data is entered by either an adminis-trator or by the pilot themselves. However, the noise cer-tifi cate must always be provided. There will be no release of data without prior validation by aerops. Any possibility of incorrect calculations or entries are thus eliminated.

To handle fees, aerops uses a secure online transaction service. Therefore, opening an account is a prerequisite for using aerops as a payment service.The set-up of your own account can be easily done via your online access. After administrator authentication, pilots and airports can begin using the system. There are no costs to you as an airport when utilizing the aerops payment service.
