• Uncap thesilicone plugand introducethe medication

• Make sure theAerogen isupright.

• Power on

• Press #4

• Hit the oval keybelow “MORE” atthe bottom of thescreen

• Choose “1” ML/HR

• On the nextscreen, choose “1”B-D (not shown)

• Load prepared syringe(note: this is a syringe andtubing specially designedfor this application,available in the RTdepartment)

• Use the lever on the endto set move arm and locksyringe in place.

• Hit “ENTER” when done

• Type 12 and hit“ENTER”

• At this screen, hit“Disable”, leaving thebox blank.

• Choose “YES” toconfirm settings (Notshown)

• Press “BOLUS” key toprime tubing(remove the air fromtubing.

• Press “EXIT” whenpriming is complete

• Press the START key
