41st PHILRECA ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING,
YEAR-END STRATEGIC CONFERENCE, and THANKSGIVING
To commemorate new milestones of the Association and the Movement – from
successfully conquering new heights and territories to standing up from natural
calamities or man-made challenges that hit us – we will be hosting four (4) events as part
of the celebration of the 41st PHILRECA Annual General Membership Meeting, Year-
end Strategic Conference, and Thanksgiving on December 1-4, 2020 with the theme
“Charging for the Future: Strengthening the One EC MCO Movement Towards a resilient Rural
Electrification Program.”
The events are as follows:
Souvenir Program Cover Design Competition
Songwriting and Music Video Competition
Film Making Competition – Narrative short-film and Documentary non-fiction
Photography Competition
We would like to enjoin all officers, employees, and Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs)
of the 121 Electric Cooperatives to participate in these competitions and showcase their
talents, creativity, and skills. The entries for this year’s competition should be inspired
by how the entire rural electrification sector pursued its mission and advocacy despite
the successive catastrophes specifically during last year’s earthquakes and typhoons,
and just recently, the volcanic eruption and life-altering COVID-19 pandemic.
