Back to beautyJulian Monkley, of Monkley Furniture has a plethora of impressive skills and achievements under his belt. He initially trained with a Cotswold cabinet maker before moving back to Herefordshire to pursue his interest in furniture restoration, where he gained valuable experience working with a local antique furniture company. He then graduated to working as a furniture conservator for Hereford City Museum; a job which enabled him to work on some of the finest pieces of furniture in Herefordshire. He is now based at his Felton workshop where he and his wife Jo have established their own furniture business. Julian uses traditional methods and materials. His wealth of knowledge enables him to honour each job with the care and attention it deserves.
