The sample was subjected to a seven day, Static Renewal Fathead Minnow, Pimephalespromelas, larval survival and growth test (Method 1000.0) and Cladoceran,Ceriodaphnia dubia, survival and reproduction test (Method 1 0 0 2 . 0 ) . The results andstatistical interpretations indicate the sample has PASSED the Fathead minnowsurvival and growth test at low flow of 100% effluent for both lethal and sub-lethaleffects , and PASSED the Ceriodaphnia dubia survival and reproduction test at low flowof 100% effluent for both lethal and sub-lethal effects . The following are tabulateddata and results.

Survival Data exhibited a normal distribution and a non-homogeneous variance.
Steel's Many-One Rank Test = Survival is not significantly different in allconcentrations of effluent
Bonferroni T-Test = Growth is not significantly different in allconcentrations of eff luent .
No Observable Effects Concentrations (NOECs)are as follows:NOEC Survival = 100% eff luentNOEC Growth = 100% effluent
The Ceriodaphnia dubia, Cladoceran survival and reproduction test methodexposes neonates to different concentrations of effluent and dilution wateruntil 60% of the surviving control organisms have three broods of offspringwith an average of 15 young per female. Test results are based on thesurvival and the reproduction of young per female. The results andstatistical interpretations indicate the sample has PASSED the Cladoceransurvival test and PASSED the reproduction test for 100% effluent flow.

SUMMARY
Daily and Monthly WWTP discharge limits were met for all parameters.A summary of the chloride results for the WWTP effluent stream indicates anincrease in chloride levels (172.5 mg/L) compared to December (138 mg/L)..

The total recovered groundwater for this month is 153,000 gallons. This beginsthe annual trend of higher recoveries during the rainy season (1^' quarter). Incomparison, the January 1997 recovery volume was 144,350 gallons. The totalgroundwater recovered to date is 5,298,400 gallons. The highest volume wasrecovered from RW-3 (41,720 gal.) and the lowest recovery was from RW-1(4,030 gal.).
Recovery wells RW-5 and RW-8 were shutdown during the first week in Januaryand were back in service the next week following return of the repaired pump forRW-8 and field replacement of the timer RW-5. Additionally, a new flowmeterwas installed at RW-7.
Bag filter replacement at the WWTP was performed on January 16"', January 26^and February 2"''. The sump pump in the WWTP was repaired as well.
