Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Enter Server URL

Tap to type the URL for your meeting, or select from the list of meetings you’ve attended previously.

Tap NEXT.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Enter as Member Option

Select Member if you have an Adobe Connect username and password.

Tap ENTER to continue.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Enter as Guest Option

Select Guest to enter without a username and password. The host may have to approve your entry, so type your name as you are known by the host.

A series of Connecting messages will appear. Then you will enter the Adobe Connect Meeting room.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Meeting Overview

First you see an Overview of the activities taking place in this meeting, similar to how they are seen by the presenters and desktop participants.


Adobe Connect Mobile View: Focus on Share Pod

Tap on a pod in Overview Mode to focus on that pod.

Here the Share Pod is in focus, and the other pods are hidden, but can be accessed with a tap in the navigation panel on the left.

Tap to focus on the Video Pod to see a larger image of one or more people broadcasting a video camera feed.

Tap to focus on the Chat Pod to read text, and to send chat messages to everyone in the meeting using the text box at the bottom of the screen.

The Attendee List button displays the number of people in this meeting.

Tap to see their names and meeting roles, such as Host, Participant, or Presenter.

To send a Private Chat, tap and hold on a person’s name. Then tap Start Private Chat.

The view switches to the Chat Pod, so that you can type your private chat message.

A new tab also appears in the Chat Pod window, named after the person with whom you’ve started a private chat conversation.

If new chat messages come in, the tab associated with the message changes color to let you know you should take a look.

Tap the tabs to view and send Public Chat (visible to everyone in the meeting) and Private Chat (sent and received between you and the single person named on the tab).

Tap the Notes Pod button to zoom in on detailed text notes.

Look: a new chat message has come in while you were looking at the Notes. The green number ‘1’ beside the Chat button lets you know. Tapping the Chat button again will let you read the message you missed.

Tap the Poll button to view and participate in any polls offered by the presenters of your meeting.

The host may or may not choose to share the results with the group as shown here.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: VOIP Audio Enabled

VOIP audio broadcasting has been enabled, indicated by the microphone button.

Devices with microphones or attached headset microphones can be used to broadcast audio into the meeting.

Tap the microphone button to begin broadcasting VOIP audio.

A small notification appears for a brief moment beside the Attendee List, to let everyone know you are the active speaker.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Video Broadcasting Enabled

2-way video broadcasting has been enabled, indicated by the web camera video button.

Devices with video cameras can be used to broadcast video into the meeting.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Preview Video Broadcast

Tap the video button to access your camera.

Once you are okay with the preview image, tap BROADCAST.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Actively Broadcasting Video

Video is broadcasting when the video button is green.

Tap STOP or PAUSE to stop broadcasting, or to pause the feed.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Paused Video Broadcast

Here the video feed is paused, and everyone sees a still (paused) image from your camera.

Tap BROADCAST to resume, or STOP to end your video feed.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Telephone Audio Conference Available

A telephone conference call has been made available in the meeting, indicated by the phone button.

Tap the phone button to access dialing options.

Enter your number and tap CALL MY PHONE.

Answer the phone call, and follow any audio instructions from the conference call provider. Codes may not be needed, because the meeting inputs this information on your behalf.

Now the line is active (green).

Tap the phone button to MUTE your line, or to HANG UP the call.

Here the line is muted.

Tap to UNMUTE or to HANG UP the call.


Adobe® Connect™ Mobile: Log Out to Exit the Meeting

To exit, tap the round button and select LOG OUT.
