ELLENSBURG BIG BAND MUSIC Back for an encore performance is the Ellensburg Big Band! Founded in 2011, the Ellensburg Big Band is an 18 member classic Swing Jazz Band in the tradition of the wonderful dance bands of the 1940’s and 50’s. Featuring favorites from the Glen Miller and Count Basie Bands, they also play a wide variety of jazz standards and modern styles.

The musicians represent a broad section of the

Ellensburg community, including college students,

music educators, and a colorful bunch of local

professionals all of whom treasure the opportunity to

make terrific music together. A familiar group with the

local swing dance crowd, the band has played dances

and concerts at CWU, Gonzaga University, Seasons

Performance Hall in Yakima, Suncadia Resort, The

Kittitas County Fair, The Ellensburg summer concert

series, and in 2014 performed in Sanda City Japan.

Bounce off the Wallz

GET READY…GET SET… TIME TO CHOW DOWN, YOU HUNGRY HIPPOS! Hippo Chow Down is the latest interactive game guaranteed to keep participants and spectators laughing for hours. This is the latest 4-player bungee tug-o-war style game that involves speed, strength and agility. Object of the game: Once the referee blows the whistle, each of the 4 players starts from their back wall and races to the pond of balls in the center of the game to retrieve as many balls as possible and return them to the mosh bag at their starting wall. Once all of the balls are chow’d down, the player with the most balls in their bag is the winner!

Animal Cracker Conspiracy (ACC) was founded by Bridget Rountree and Iain Gunn who joined forces to bring their love of puppetry and performance to audiences of all ages in 2006 and have now been wowing audiences for over a decade. Their shared interest and investigation of where fine art, puppetry, performance art, physical theater, and mixed media intersect is a continued source of inspiration for their work. They are known for their ability to collaborate as well as the quality of performers they work with. People will be talking about their charming and audacious characters for years to come.

BUFFALO SOLDIERS OF THE SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR

The name “Buffalo Soldiers” was given to the African-American soldiers of the 10th Cavalry of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas by the Cheyenne Indians because of their “wooly hair,” courage, and fighting skills. Learn about life in the late 1890’s, the

policies of the U.S. Government, and the role that media played in covering the war in Cuba. You can talk to troops of the 10th Cavalry and the 1st US volunteer Cavalry!

“For several years, most of the Rusty Cage band members played together in a top-40 rock cover band in which Darian (Rusty Cage's Lead Vocalist) played the drums. During the 2nd set, Darian would switch instruments with the rhythm guitar player and perform a couple of Johnny Cash songs, just to add a little variety to the show. We've always known that a lot of people love Johnny Cash's music, but we never really knew how much until we started playing those Cash tunes and the crowd would beg for more! When the cover band disbanded, we started thinking that we should give this Johnny Cash thing a shot and the response has been incredible!

“After learning 50 or 60 Johnny Cash songs, we began thinking that we should add some variety to the show as well. Songs from artists that were Johnny's friends and influences have been added to the set list, including Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Sr., Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, Elvis and many more! We believe these classics are loved by all generations.

“It is truly our pleasure to play these songs and we do it with pride! Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you at the shows!” ~ Rusty Cage Band

rePercussion is a group of highly skilled and professional entertainers joining together for the sole purpose of entertaining audiences. They

produce a larger than life show combining high energy rhythm, audience interaction, and hilarious comedy to deliver a crowd involving

performance of sight, sound and laughter. Although expert percussionists, they make all their noise using buckets, barrels, street signs, pots and pans

to bang out thunderous grooves and funky dance beats.

Carrie Cunningham is an authentic, sassy, and totally believable voice on the New Country/Americana scene. Musically daring and more interesting than a traditional three-chord country singer, Carrie is not unlike a Modern Day Bobby Gentry. She has the sass of Miranda Lambert and a powerhouse voice like Martina McBride; all the while, the sweetness that seethes from the rich tones of Pam Tillis.

JOE

STODDARD

“If Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor and John Prine were joined together in some bizarre musical cloning experiment, the outcome would be John Dunnigan. This "offbeat" musician and entertainer took the backroads to Montana over three decades ago and never left (he's no fool). Today, he performs throughout Montana and the Northwest at bierstubes, corporate events, weddings, schools, fairs and festive brouhahas of every conceivable kind. His original, often hilarious songs make you think, laugh, sing along and raise your glass in a toast to life. In short, he can put a smile on your face.”

JOHN DUNNIGAN

Joe Stoddard keeps the audience entertained from start to finish with a HUGE Variety of music and hysterical Comedy. "People have been known to laugh the lips right off their faces."
