In the 1st Session the Resource Person explained the LMS Moodle (Learning Management System)and its features like Academic Planner, Uploading Course Material, Video Conferencing , Assignment Submission, Online Examination,etc.,

In the II Session he explained anddemonstrated the applications of Smart Watch, Piccoprojector and Kinetics. He demonstrated the 6th sense technology.

Finally the Resourceful Resource Person gave an interesting and enlighting lecture on ubiquitous computing and Technical Demonstration and also emphasized the use of NPTEL (NationalProgramme on Technology Enhanced Learner).

Staff Members gave their valuable feedback about the programme.Dr.S.Krishnaveni, Additional Convenor IQAC, proposed vote of thanks.

Nagapattinam District Government Hospital Blood Bank felicitated Mrs.V.Umamaheshwari Co-ordinator of Rotaract Club on 31.07.14 for encouraging the students to donate Blood. Dr. S.Gnana Soundari, Medical Officer Blood Bank welcomed the gathering.

Dr.T.Sampath Kumar, Deputy Director for Health and Hygiene gave Presidential address and felicitated the coordinators of various Institutions of Nagapattinam. In his address he spoke about the various groups of Blood and its importance to life. He encouraged the people to donate blood for the needed people.

NSS

A.D.M College for Women (Autonomous) NSS Unit I&II arranged a Program to clean the ground and fill sand in the adapted village’s Municipal Middle School at Nambiar Nagar, Nagapattinam on Wednesday 11th August 2014.

About 30 NSS Volunteers participated in the programme. As per the Head Mistress, Mrs. Ulagambigai, of Municipal Middle School, Nambiar Nagar requested and invited the NSS Volunteers to help them to clean the ground and fill the sand in and around the school campus and participate in their Independence Day Function. Program Officers Dr.C.J.Pricilla and Mrs.G.Anbarasi of Unit I&II organised the students.

NSS Unit I&II Participated in the 68th

Independence Day Celebrations at Collectorate Sports Stadium on 15th August 2014. 22 +1 NSS Volunteers joined the Independence Day’s March Past parade.

The District Collector Mr.T.Munusamy hoisted the flag at 8.30A.M., and accepted the honour of the March Past Parade and the cultural programs of all students from various colleges and schools.

The Volunteers were trained for

three days by the team of Tamil Nadu Police Department, Nagapattinam, from 12ndAugust 7.00 A.M to 9.00 A.M with the guidance of a NSS Program Officer each day.

NSS Program Officer’s Dr.C.J.Pricilla and Mrs.G.Anbarasi attended the function along with the students on Independence Day parade. The Program was validated with the National Anthem.

NSS Unit I&II Participated in the program to assist the task of temple cleaning and supporting packing section at Neelayathatchi Amman Temple, Nagapattinam on 20th & 23rd August 2014.

50 NSS Volunteers participated each day. NSS Program Officer’s Dr.C.J.Pricilla and Mrs. Anbarasi assistedthe students and organized the program. NSS Unit I&II Participated in the Orientation program for the fresh NSS Volunteers on Mother Teresa’s Birthday,26th August 2014. 100 fresh NSS Volunteers participated.
