AdjectivesAn adjective is a word that describes a noun.Adjectives tell what kind or how many.Adjectives may be written before the noun they describe or after a linking verb.

AdverbsAdverbs describe verbs.They tell how, when, or where something happens.Most adverbs that tell how end in ly.Adverbs are not always written near the verbs they describe.
