STAFF SELECTION COMMISSIONCombined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2012- Release

of additional List of candidates for CBI for the post of LDC.

 The final result of Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination,2012 was declared on 22.5.2013 and a total 50 candidates were recommendedfor the post of LDC in CBI.

2. As CBI reported additional vacancies for the post of LDC, theCommission has decided to release additional list of 69 candidates for thepost of LDC in CBI.

All the candidates who were meeting the cut-off fixed by Commission inWritten Examination and Typing Test were considered irrespective of whetherthey have opted for post of LDC and/or given preference for CBI.

3. Category wise break-up of the candidates selected in the additional listfor LDC is given below:-

4. Tie-cases have been resolved by applying the following criteria, one afteranother, as applicable till the Tie is resolved:-

(i)   Total marks in the written examination.(ii)  Date of Birth, with older candidate placed higher.(iii) Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.

5. Marks obtained by the first and last selected candidates for the differentcategories are given below:-

6. The candidates in the additional list will be en-bloc junior to the candidatesin the select list and their rank will start from RLC.

7. There is 1 candidate namely Shri Subhash Paswan, Roll No.3206529082 in the additional list whose candidature has been kept as provisional by concerned regional office but is also included in this list. Concerned RegionalDirector will be required to check the eligibility of the candidate thoroughly before nomination.

8.  The above said List is subject to the recommended candidates fulfilling all the

eligibility conditions prescribed for the respective post in the Notice of Examination andalso subject to thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photographs,

signatures, handwritings, etc., on the application forms, admission certificates, etc. Thecandidature of the candidates are liable to be cancelled by respective Regional Directors

in case candidates found not fulfilling the eligibility conditions or any other genuinereasons.

9.  For candidates belonging to reserved categories for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as per Government Policy, the category status is indicated against

their Roll Numbers. It is important to note that some of these candidates have beendeclared qualified only for the category mentioned against their Roll Numbers. If any

candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against his/her name, he/shemay not be eligible to be included in the list. It is, therefore, in the interest of the

candidates concerned to immediately contact the respective Regional Office of theCommission in all such cases where they do not belong to the category shown against

their Roll Numbers.
