Thank you so much for downloading this game. I hope your kiddos enjoy it as much as mine do. This game is pretty much just like the card game war, from my childhood, but the game board provided a template for my kiddos so they would know exactly what to do & the different piles they should have. Included in this pack: •  Addition Game Board •  Subtraction Game Board •  Set of number cards from 0-20 (print 4 sets for play) •  Record sheet •  Directions I laminated my boards back-to-back so they were always together, or putting them back-to-back in a page protector would work too. Directions Topic(s): Addition, Greater Than, Subtraction, Less Than Players: 2-3 Object: Turn over 2 cards and find the greatest sum or the least difference. Materials: •  4 sets of 0-20 number cards •  Record sheet •  Pencil for each player How to Play: 1.  Shuffle your number cards. 2.  Give one card to each player until all of the cards are gone. 3.  Each player lays out 2 cards •  If playing “Addition Wars” 1.  Add the 2 numbers together. 2.  The highest sum wins and that player gets all of the cards. 3.  Write an addition sentence for your cards and one for each player, on your record sheet. 4.  Circle the highest sum. •  If playing “Subtraction Wars” 1.  Subtract your lowest number from your highest number. 2.  The lowest difference wins and that player gets all of the cards. 3.  Write a subtraction sentence for your cards and one for each player, on your record sheet. 4.  Circle the lowest difference. Play until one player has all of the cards.   *If a player has only 1 card, add an imaginary “0” to your addition or subtraction sentence. *If all players have the same sum or difference, then it is a tie & all players keep their own cards.
