Scented Ink Results Odor is subjective.
It is hard to determine fragrance saturation because some people can
smell better than others.
Directly after printing, you could get a hint of the aroma.
Scented Ink Results L.A. Times
California has a scent law. L.A. Times ran 1.3. million papers with the
scent. Operational success. Marketed prior to running, it was on their web
site and there was a press release. L.A. Times did not receive any complaints.
Scented Ink Lessons Learned
Actual scent used was thicker and did not flow as well as the test.
Required the pressure to the page packs to be turned up.
Be sure to check your materials upon arrival.
Scented Ink Lessons Learned
After smelling for the ink on the paper, you become desensitized. It is a sensory overload.
Using coffee grounds to clear your palate is beneficial to get the clear scent.
If the area to rub is not clearly marked, make sure the area is large.
Scented Ink Lessons Learned
Gum builds up on the ink rail and inside of the ink canister due to the viscosity.
Need to determine what chemical to use to clean the gum build up on the inside of the page pack.
Had to remove the filter from the canister to allow proper flow. The fragrance capsules would get caught in the filter.
