4. Click Create Project button on the top right hand side of the screen.

5. Enter a new name for the project. Upon completion, click the Save button on the top right.

Template indicates how the project should behave. There are many different templates, ranging from an Analyst only template (which only provides access to Rational Requirements Manager and some parts of Change and Configuration Manager) to full the Architect template which will provide access to all RTC applications including Architecture Manager. These applications are listed as Artifacts in the Artifacts Containers section. These artifacts describe the applications accessible to the project. In the default template, (Quality Professional, Analyst, Developer) three applications are available: Requirements Management, Change and Configuration Management, and Quality Management. Each of these artifacts can have their own Project Templates. For example, if the project is an Agile SCRUM project, one can select the Agile Template for RM and Scrum template for CCM. These options provides the most flexibility for any type of project development process.

Change User rolesA user can have one login to an RTC server, but can access many projects in the said server with different roles. These roles affect what the user can do within the project area. Assigning roles to a user is easy as long as the user has accepted the invitation to the project area.

1. Visit https://orleans.unfcsd.unf.edu:9443/jts. Log in using your Jazz username and password.2. Click on the Home button to access your dashboard.

6. For each artifact you want to change role, click on the Edit User's Profile. This brings up the Edit Process Roles window. Select a role you want the user to have and click Add. Note that each role has a specific set of activities, and their view of the project area will change accordingly. Also a user can have multiple roles.

Each artifact has their own specific roles, as the Requirements Manager provides different roles compared to Change and Configuration Management. Here are some of the descriptions of the roles for CCM.Analyst - The person in this role represents customer and end-user concerns by gathering input from stakeholders to understand the problem to be solved and by capturing and setting priorities for requirements.Architect - This role is responsible for defining the software architecture, which includes making the key technical decisions that constrain the overall design and implementation of the project.Developer - This role is responsible for developing a part of the system, including designing it to fit into the architecture, possibly prototyping the user-interface, and then implementing, unit-testing, and integrating the components that are part of the solution.Project Manager - This role leads the planning of the project, coordinates interactions with the stakeholders, and keeps the project team focused on meeting the project objectives.
