AI/PITBULLThe Adams Industries Pitbull was designed for the U.S. Arm

response to the need for a smaller and lighter pocket scope tis ruggedized and uses in-stock ANVIS-9 image intensifiers aoptics but also accepts standard AN/PVS-14 accessories.

The Pitbull accomplished both these goals admirably and in-cludes upgrades to current systems such as using the 3V Liium battery (DOD Standard) for longer operating time andsmaller size and the ability to mount the PVS-7 IR illuminatorfocusing lens for greater versatility of the IR illuminator.

AI/SENTINELThe SENTINEL is a night vision goggle developed in responseto the ground forces deployment of ANVIS goggles and the re-sulting combat breakage of using a system designed for cock-pit use in environments it was never intended for.

In essence, the SENTINEL can be described as an up-armoredANVIS system for ground use. The SENTINEL is manufac-tured of ALUMINUM AND MACHINED DELRIN but remainslighter than a PVS-15. The SENTINEL ships with field-swappable dovetail and ball-and-plunger mounting solutions

and is compatible with the AI-SAM series of ruggedizedmounts.

SENTINEL systems are available with a variety of image inten-sifiers and accessories. Ask for details of available systems.
