Unity hospital is a health careprovider that is located in Fridley,MN. They have state of the arttechnology, equipment, modernfacilities and highly skilledprofessionals that are ready to help 24/7.

1. How do you handle conflicts in the workplace?They try to find the source of it and do what they can to
resolve it and make sure everyone is comfortable with the outcome.
2. How do you deal with the language barrier?They try to use hand signals and body language or try to
find a co-worker that could help out, they also try to get an interpreter if possible.
3. Is working in teams valuable to the company?Yes, because then they are more productive, also if there is
a problem they use each other to get it resolved.4. How do you deal with an angry customer/client?Stay calm and do everything you can to help them.

Need to be able to work with people because you are around them all day.

Faith Community Nurse program- provides spiritual, emotional and physical care for individuals and families.
Unity Community Gardens- brings freshly grown food to residents/employees.
7. What do you look for in your team members?Communication, participation and a willingness to
be open to new ideas.
8. How large are the groups?Depends on what the project is.9. What is your role in the group?Varies depending on the project.10. What is the most important skill needed to be
successful in the company?Have to be able to get along with different types of
people and communicate with them.
1. How do you handle conflicts in the workplace?We find out the facts of what happened and contact all of
the parties involved in the conflict immediately. We address it and get it clarified so it’s not swept under the rug.
2. How do you deal with the language barrier?We try to learn some of their language if possible or we
use hand gestures to point and clarify what the customer is looking for to help them to the best of our ability.
3. Is working in teams valuable to the company?Absolutely.

4. How do you deal with an angry customer/client?Apologize and ask them how we can make it right, try
to make the customer leave happy and not angry.5. What type of communication do you need to work
here?Verbal.6. How does your organization get involved with the
community?We make many donations and have multiple programs
to help out schools and other organizations.7. What do you look for in your team members?Comradery to help other team members, customer
service skills, and the willingness to make a difference.
8. How large are the groups?As a store, about 25. 2 upper management, 5
middle, and 15-20 lower.9. What is your role in the group?The leader of the group, keep everyone on task so
the business runs smoothly.10.What is the most important skill needed to be
successful in the company?Benchmarking – knowing the job that needs to be
done and assigning the best person to that job thus helping set and keep a good standard.
A 'viands is a culinary company that specializes
in food and management that is based out of
Roseville, MN. They prepare the meals for
restaurants, universities and retirement homes.
Their customer base ranges from college
students to retired folks.
1. How do you handle conflicts in the workplace? They sit down with the individually, and listen to what they
are upset about. Get their feedback on how they think this could be solved and then sit down all together and work out a solution that everyone buys into.
2. How do you deal with the language barrier?By Using patience, objects to help identify is the way the
deal with the language barrier.3. Is working in teams valuable to the company?Working in teams is valuable to the company, because it is a
good way to cover work areas. Someone's weakness may be another's strength.
4. How do you deal with an angry customer/client? Dealing with angry customers or clients they listen to their
issue and then try and resolve or meet them half way.

5. What type of communication do you need to work here? They look for open communication, ability to talk things through.6. How does your organization get involved with the community? The way they get involved with the community, is by donating
money and items to shelters, holding fundraisers, and volunteering.
7. What do you look for in your team members? The ideal team member would be someone who is goal oriented.
Can work in a team environment yet work individually on some tasks, and are dependable, flexible, and experience.
8. How large are the groups? Their groups are usually between 2 and 6.9. What is your role in the group? Their role in the group is the manager lead the team to success 10. What is the most important skill needed to be successful in
the company? The most important skill is people skills. Ability to understand
peoples needs and work with them.

We each learned that no matter what type of job it is you have to deal with different types of people everyday.
