1. The good news gives everlasting life to all who believe in Jesus Christ.

The gospel of salvation provides forgiveness of sins to people who believe and confess Jesus as the Lord of their life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

The life that God gives through his son Jesus Christ is the only one that is everlasting. It is life without end through salvation. It is your responsibility as a child of God to share the good news of everlasting life to sinners without a savior.

2. The good news is the power of God

The power of God is revealed on the preaching of the good news of salvation to the unsaved.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew fi rst, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16

The only power in this world that has the cure for sin’s power is the gospel of Christ. Whenever you share the good news, the power of God is released to begin an internal work in the hearts of people to believe that Jesus is the only savior.

You must join the soul winning agenda to tell the gospel without shame and see the power of God convicting lost souls to make positive decisions of accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and personal saviour.

3. The good news gives joy to the host of heaven

The angels of heaven are not against the prosperity and personal blessings of people in the world, yet their only interest is saving of the lost.

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. Luke 15:10

There is joy in heaven and with the angels when one sinner repents of their sins and turns unto the Lord Jesus Christ. Most of the great miracles and material blessings in our life are for our happiness and comfort. The host of heaven is not against our blessings but only rejoice in the salvation of sinners. Your time has come to join the soul winning agenda to make heaven happy.

4. The good news will rescue perishing souls

All those who are yet to be born again through the gospel of Jesus Christ are led astray in blindness into destruction by the devil. The love of God reveals that he doesn’t want anyone to perish if only they will believe the gospel of salvation.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18

Sinners are already in the state of condemnation and that is why we don’t condemn anyone in our preaching of good news but rather tell about the love and peace of God. Your aim and focus as a soul winner is not about their sin but a loving God who is willing to deliver them from the power of sin if only they will believe.

5. The good news will move sinners from darkness to light

Anyone who is not born again is in darkness and under the control of Satan. The good news is a message of light with the intention of taking people from the kingdom of darkness into God’s kingdom of light.Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Colossians 1:12-13 God wants all sinners to become partakers of the inheritance of light and the good news is the gate way to that plan. The good news must reveal the brightness of the glorious light. The message must help the sinner to see the brighter light. If you focus on the light in your message, the sinner will make a decision for the light by accepting Jesus Christ. They are already in darkness so don’t waste all your time talking about darkness. Talk about the light which is Jesus Christ.

6. The good news is the only door way to God

The only sure way for assurance of salvation that guarantees eternal life is through Jesus Christ our king and savior. There are many religions and manmade systems in the world but none saves except Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth and the life that gives salvation.

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and fi nd pasture. John 10:9

You must politely inform the unsaved that Jesus Christ is the only door to salvation. Those who come to God through Jesus Christ shall be saved because he is the only provision God has made for our salvation. There are many other doors in this world that claims to be the way, but the only door that guarantees true salvation is Jesus Christ the saviour of the world. Read Acts 4:12. As you share the good news, the Holy Spirit will lead people through that door to be saved.

7. The good news will make you bear fruits God’s plan for every believer is to show forth the kindness, grace and peace of God by bearing fruits in soul winning. As you answer your call for soul harvester’s agenda, God wants your fruits to remain in Christ.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30

You are a righteous tree in Jesus Christ and God wants you to bear signifi cant fruits of souls for his kingdom. A righteous life is like a good and fruitful tree that produces good fruits. You share the good news because you have received your righteousness by the same news and you rejoice in helping others by the help of the Holy Spirit to

lead them to salvation. The job of all wise people is winning souls for Christ. Every good tree produce after its kind hence if you are saved, you get others saved. The goodnews is the secret to good marriage, business, relationship and a life of victory.

8. The good news will bring Church growth.

Church growth is good because it proves that the visible kingdom of God on earth is growing and working in expectation of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe it is God’s will that all churches that are built upon true bible faith should grow and increase in numbers through salvation of souls. That is why you and your loved ones are encouraged to join us in worship this weekend.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Acts 2:40-41

When the early church members answered their calling for soul winning, God honored their labour by adding to the church daily. When you share the good news and the lost get saved, God will add them to the church for church growth. When saved souls are added to church, they are trained and equipped to go and win souls.

declared 2014 as a year of uncommon expansion. I

received it and sowed seeds. God has honored his

Prophetic promotions: Ann .LDuring the 2013 New Year’s Eve service, God’s

messenger called me out of the service and

prophesied that I was overdue with my place of

work. I loved my job and didn’t want to hear that,

but he proceeded by saying I will be fi red from

my job. I then took the word of the Lord on board

and went out applying for better jobs. Since then

I changed jobs twice and I am now in managerial

position in my present job. I give God all the glory.

The word of God has changed my life:

Lydia. AWhen I came to Restoration City, I was very sick

and couldn’t sleep at night. Using the prayer

books and hearing the powerful word of faith that

is preached every week increased my faith for total

healing. I have also received divine favour with my

work place and my life has changed with a stable

work. I am grateful to Jesus for the expression of

his love at Restoration City Church.

My story changed from sorrow to joy:

Rosalyn BI always had men come in and out of my life who

never wanted to settle for marriage. Growing

up, my dream was to get married at an early age

and settle quickly. By my late thirties I was still

single without any sign of getting married. My

own biological mother was so frustrated about

my situation and started putting pressure on me

to marry. I had so much pressure to go out for a

partner which always turned out into emotional

pain and discouragement. I fi nally made a decision

to go to church after I saw Bishop James Nanjo on

a television prayer show. I started living right for

the Lord and went through the prayer and fasting

project for deliverance. I now know how to trust

God for change of life because Jesus has changed

my story from prolonged singleness to blissful

marriage. When I trusted God to move from

immorality to a life that is holy and acceptable

before the Lord, everything changed. God has

been very kind to me and I am now happily

married with the love of my heart. My story has

changed from sorrow to joy.
