ST DAVID’S FOOD PANTRY GUILD (FOOD BARREL) Inside the St David Church main entrance is a Food Barrel for your canned goods and dry goods. You should deliver your per-ishable items directly to St Mark’s on Fri. More than 50 families are assisted each week in rotation (200 families per month). Food distributed each Fri at 9:30 am at St Mark’s (159 Harbor Way at Bissell, Richmond 94801).

Evening Schedule (Tue, Wed & Fri @ 5 pm) At 5:00 pm we begin Eucharistic Adoration and pray the Rosary & Divine Mercy Chaplet. Adoration continues in silence and Confessions are available 5:30-6:15 followed by Benediction and 6:30 Mass.

Spiritual Enrichment Series (Mon May 13 @ 7:00 PM in the JPII meeting room) Divine Mercy in the Second Greatest Story Ever Told Episode 7– The Secret of Divine Mercy; Episode 8 – God’s Master Plan Renowned speaker and author Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC will enlighten us on the dramatic history of God’s mercy and love for us as interwoven through His messages to St. Faustina, the miraculous appearance of Our Lady at Fati-ma, the witness of Maximilian Kolbe, and the world-changing papacy of Pope St. John Paul II. You don’t want to miss this, so mark your calendar and plan to attend!

St David Respect Life Ministry (Wed @ 10:00 am-10:45 am, weather permitting) Please join us and members of other parishes to pray in front of Planned Parenthood — Concentra Urgent Care Building (2970 Hilltop Rd., Richmond 94806) — for an end to abortion. We park at the edge of the Walmart park-ing lot across the street facing the Concentra Urgent Care Building. “Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love but to use violence to get what they want.” -- Mother Teresa.

St. David Book Club (Wed May 15 @ 7:00 PM) The Book Club meets on Wednesdays after the evening Mass in the JPII room. We are studying of the Letter to the Hebrews with commentary by Daniel Harrington, SJ.

SDW St Vincent De Paul Please see our List of Needs on the green board in the ves-tibule, and please consider becoming a member of our SVdP parish conference. Monthly Movie Matinee (Sun May 26 @ 1215 pm) In John Paul II room, free admission, free food. This month we show “The Keys to the Kingdom” Based on a 1941 novel by A J Cronin, this movie (1945) is about a priest sent as a missionary to China, where he overcomes suspicions and hostilities with sincerity and love. This is Gregory Peck’s first major movie role.

Summer Program for grades 6-9 Spend time learning at beautiful Peralta Park in Berkeley this summer, at Saint Mary’s High summer academic en-richment programs and sports camps for youngsters in grades 6-9, June 17 through July 12. Week-long sports camps led by Saint Mary's coaching staff will emphasize team-building, while students learn skills in: Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Flag Football, and Strength & Condi-tioning. The Middle School Academics Enrichment pro-grams in Math and English are tailored to students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat Rachel’s Vineyard offers a safe time and place to renew, rebuild and redeem hearts broken by abortion.
