THEME• Theme is the insight about human life that is revealed in a

literary work.

• The autobiography “Night” by Elie Wiesel has many themes.

• I chose the theme: No matter how complex or advanced humans are, human nature still relates to simple animal behavior.

ANIMAL BEHAVIOR OF HUMAN• Elie witnessed many examples of humans acting as animals.

Elie even starts to receive thoughts of animal behavior about his father. He feels guilty for thinking of these thoughts. Elie even went back to his religion to ask for strength to stay away from this behavior even though he dropped it.
