ACTIVE LIVING
“Promoting Independent Lifestyles”
Happy New Year!
I don’t know about you, but every year I set some goals to meet in the
new year. Not every goal I set is reached due to whatever setbacks I
may face throughout the year. However, just trying to reach my goals,
makes me a better person along the way and that’s what matters. Goals
can be anything from personal to professional, or even educational.
Maybe you want to travel more (guess what we have a travel club and
trips coming up)! Maybe you want to volunteer more (we would love to
utilize your skills). Maybe you want to exercise more (we have an exer-
cise class everyday). Or maybe you just want to get out and socialize
more with your friends and meet new people (we have you covered)!
One of my goals for this year is to get to know each of you better so the
Evergreens Lifestyle Center is able to provide more services, events
and activities that better fit your needs and interests. Another one of my
goals this year is to make sure that everyone in our community knows
about Evergreens Lifestyle Center and the valuable services we have to
offer. Therefore, if you belong to a church, school, doctors office, fitness
center, bowling league, or other club or community organization in
Greensboro, I want to know. I would love to have the opportunity to
meet with your group so I can make them aware of the resources,
events and activities we have. I want to connect you with our Facebook
page, email, phone, newsletter and our friends!
Now that I have shared a couple of my goals, I would love to hear from
you about your goals. For this new year, what are your goals? How can
Evergreens Lifestyle Center help you achieve your goals? Where there
is a will, there is a way!
