1. Ensure the area is free fromdebris. Lay out the AirDeckbags to allow for completefloor coverage. One bag wheninflated measures 750mm x750mm x2100mm (wxhxl) andcovers 1.6 m2. 50 bags, forexample, will cover 80m2.

AIRDECK INSTRUCTIONS AND USER GUIDEInstallers should adhere to all current Health and Safety Rules, such as the wearing of protective clothing, ie hard hat, high visibility Vest/Jacket, metal toe capped boots and hand protective gloves. AirDeck products are tested to the requirements of PAS59 safety standard.

2. Make sure that the inflator isready for use and that thebattery is fully charged.

3. Open the access flap andexpose the valve. Remove thescrew cap.

4. Insert the Inflator throughthe valve and inflate with theInflator at maximum.

Three green lights on the charger indicate that the battery is charged to its maximum.

5. Fully inflate the liner until it completely fills the outer. The pressure regulator on the blower will ensure that the AirDeck is not over inflated.

6. Once the liner is full of air, make sure the non-return flap is well seated and then screw the cap on tightly.

8. Should this not be the case, deflate the liner slightly and adjust by pulling the liner through the access overlap flap at the far end of the liner.

7. On full inflation of the AirDeck, make sure that the liner does not protrude and that the flap will close fully to protect the liner.

9. Add more bags by followingSteps 1-7 and clip them together. If the bags are not constrained byouter walls and are being used inan open situation, use bags withclips both top and bottom toensure no movement of the bags.

10. Cover the whole floor area.Clip the last bag in the row to itsneighbour before inflating furtherbags. If necessary, partly inflatedbags can be squeezed in to smallor awkward gaps.

11. To deflate the bags removethe valve screw cap. Push backthe flap using the red tab until itlocks in position. Using theextract facility on the pump, if ithas one, draw out all the air.Alternatively the bags will deflaterapidly if the valve is just leftopen.

12. Make sure the bags are fullydeflated and then fold for on-sitestorage. Take care to store thebags and liners in a protectedenvironment.

Care and MaintenanceWith care, regular inspections and under normal conditions of use and storage you might expect a full working life of up to three years.

• Please make sure you follow all recommendations for use as indicated on the liner takingparticular care not to walk on the liners when setting out for deployment and that no sharpobjects are within the folds when folding for storage

• Wherever possible store in a cool dark place and avoid both extremes of temperature and wideand rapid fluctuations of temperature

• Increased and rough handling may cause fabric failure and will result in a reduction of operatinglife. The year and month of manufacture is marked on each liner as a guide to the operating lifeyou might expect

• Check that the liner stays inflated at each deployment and replace if necessary. To do this:

o Remove the old liner through the front flap

o Fully unfold the new liner and part inflate to remove creases

o Deflate and then pull through the front flap by reaching in through the overlap flap atthe far end until centrally located

• Keep a record of checks, use and frequency of deployment
