ACS 500S1 2000VA AC Source

ACS 500S1 is a single phase AC source, specially designed for testing

The output voltage is guaranteed to be perfectly sinusoidal, with a low distortion (THD) less than 0.1% regardless of the load. The value ofoutput voltage is kept perfectly stable within 0.1% independent of the load. ACS 500S1 is capable to keep the voltage stable even with variableloads, as for example pulsating loads.

ACS 500S1 allows the setting of the output frequency between 10Hz and 80Hz. The output frequency can be adjusted continuously within thespecified frequency range with a stability of 0.01%.

Block diagram

The ACS 500S1 is controlled from the DPA 500 by a RS 232 link.

The DPA 500 measures the voltage and current for harmonic and flickeranalyzing. A built in lumped flicker impedance can be bypassed for theharmonic measurement.

The system is operated from the computer with the windows softwareISMDPA.
