Dress:Cotton and Hosiery

A simple dress made from lycrahosiery, with a cotton frill border.

Though the dress seems very simple,the neck is a turtle neck, and it is

very long. So it creates a heavinessaround the neck, and owing to thematerial it falls well. The colour arealso very simple, but create a subtleeffect on the viewer.

Indian and a part of Indian culture. The

paisleys symbolizesthe youth in India andthe marigolds death.

The old women done inblack and white createa stark contrast to the

red marigolds. Themarigolds are done by

canvas is of a ballerinapreparing to go on

stage. This canvas isvery similar to the

works done by Degas,however the coloursare different from hissubtle neutral tones.
